Party Ability Bars  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.12
by: kollektiv [More]

Party Ability Bars is intended for arena use to track party member ability cooldowns. If a party member has the mod they will send the cooldown to you instead of relying on the stored cooldown.

/pab - Opens GUI

/pab lock - Locks bars

Features:
- Track any spell in the game. Pet cooldowns too.
- Automatic cooldown number sending so they're 100% accurate if your party member has the mod
- In-game ability editor
- Hide ability buttons until triggered
- Option to report only, so you don't have to see the bars but your party members can still track your cooldowns

Enjoy!

Changelog
1.12
- Updated to a newer version of LibSimpleOptions. Fixes options not opening.
1.11
- Fixed a large memory leak

1.1
- Updated for WotLK
- It will now work for party members who don't have the mod. If your party member has the mod it will retrieve the cooldown from the member, otherwise it will use the stored cooldown.
- You can now place the bars next to your party member frames because they update based on party id

1.04
- Fixed adding spells with :'s in them (ex. Shadow Word: Death)
- Added support for Pet Cooldowns

1.03
- Fixed adding spells with 's in them (ex. Nature's Swiftness)

1.02
- Fixed a nil bug

1.01
- Fixed a timer bug

1.0
- Released

Yep, still having the problem. I'll delete the savedvariables of both addons when I get home and see if anything happens.

Have you tried reinstalling everything as well as deleting PAB's saved variables? I don't know what you mean by "it doesn't work". Make sure you have the latest version.

Ok, pretty sure I got it. What a pain tracing this down! :-P So worth it though!

I'm going to start at the World of Warcraft folder for those of you that have Vista or XP.

Make sure you are not logged into the game.

1) Browse to folder: World of Warcraft/WTF/Account/<acctName>/SavedVariables

2) Scroll down to the "P" area and look for two files: PAB.lua and PAB.lua.bak

3) Highlight and delete both files (I'm sure the .bak is the guilty file, but nuking both doesn't hurt anything).

4) Relaunch your game (make sure Party Ability Bars is checked under addons) and enjoy Kollektiv's sweet mod! :-D

Verified with several accounts as well as my arena friends. Fixed for all of us now. Please note you will need to do the above steps on any accounts you may have on any given World of Warcraft install.

I am born and bred right here in the ol' U.S. of A. :-P

I got to thinking. I have quite a few mods, so I tried the new version on my laptop which has zero mods, and it worked fine. Sounds like it might be a conflict with another mod.

Any ideas which one?

EDIT: I forgot that I suppress the LUA errors. When we make them visible we get: Interface\Addons\PAB\PAB.lua:513:either current or getFunc must be supplied, but not both.

All of my mods are currently disabled except this one.

Browsing through the code it looks like this is somewhere in the function PAB:CreateOptions().

This help?

I disabled the mod, logged out of WoW, deleted the PAB folder, downloaded the newest version, unzipped and still no options. Nothing shows up graphically as well.

We doing something wrong?
