TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality. Thanks to Esamynn for Astrolabe, which does the bulk of the work in this addon.
TomTom offers the following major features:
/way 14.78 23.90
/way Nagrand 45 50
/way 14.78 23.90 This is a waypoint!
/way reset all
/way reset Nagrand
/wayb Here
/wayback
/cway
/closestway

To be honest... I just did not realize that you authored both of them... shame on me!! Stupid me! Those who actually *can* read have a clear advantage here... ;-) And thanks for the comment in the "Lightheaded" forum. |

You should be able to find this file inside ...\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<account name>\ It should be in there somewhere, either inside the direct SavedVariables folder or inside your character's SavedVariables folder. The file should be called TomTom.lua and you should make sure that your game is off when you do this incase it saves it again. Anyway, there's probably a better way, but if you are rushed for a solution, there's one. If you can wait it out, then I'd recommend an expert to answer your question. |

I've begun to see two problems since I downloaded the newest versions of LH/TT. I love these addons, and have never had problems with them until now!
1. It used to be you could click on coordinates within a quest's information, and TT would plot them in the correct zone. Now, it just makes a waypoint in whatever zone you're at at that moment. 2. Or, I get an error that says: Interface\Addons\TomTom\TomTom_Waypoints.lua:75: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'angle' (a nil value) I was originally using these in combination with Cartographer but I've wiped cart out until I figure out what's going on with LH/TT. And again, I double checked that I had the latest versions. |

Hi! I made an account to ask about somethign about TomTom
In the previous version when you hover over a waypoint it would show the quest name. In the new one it shows the quest number. I dont know about anyone else but thats kind of a hastle. Is there any way to return it back to where it would show the quest name instead of the quest number? Thank you~ ♥April

Hi there all,
there is one annoying problem with LightHeaded and TomTom, and I hope I am not repeating the already said, but I found out this (and will post it in the LightHeaded Forum as well): Sometimes the coordinates of LightHeaded waypoints are not formatted as expected by TomTom, e.g. "You'll find BlaBlaBla at the coordinates [25,42.]" Do you notice the "." at the end of the sentence? As this is drawn into the coordinates, it is causing TomTom to malfunction, when clicking on the coordinates it in LightHeaded... and this appears to be found often in the LightHeaded clues! Is there an easy way to fix this? Check for trailing "." on coordinates? This would be great! Thank you for this marvellous addon anyway!! Can't quest without it anymore!! HP |

Re: Re: Also recieving this error.
I'm running both tourguide, questhelper, and lightheaded (which i believe LH is unrelated to this error) I'm also using the Cartographer package off wowace, using WAU, with frequent updates I also frequently update TomTom and Questhelper via another updater pointed here at WoWI. I believe this may be a 1 time stale data issue. I haven't seen the error since I cleaned my savedVar (and I haven't got anymore quests from tourguide or questhelper). I would have people clean out the stale waypoint, and then see if any other stale waypoints emerge over time.

Re: Also recieving this error.
Any idea of how I can reproduce this, so I can figure out more details of the bug. How was the waypoint set in the first place? When did the error occur?

Also recieving this error.
Also getting the same error at login
2008/04/19 10:28:12-169-x1]: TomTom-141\TomTom_Waypoints.lua:75: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'angle' (a nil value) TomTom-141\TomTom_Waypoints.lua:181: in function `SetWaypoint' TomTom-141\TomTom.lua:664: in function `AddZWaypoint' TomTom-141\TomTom.lua:164: in function `ReloadWaypoints' TomTom-141\TomTom.lua:129: in function `?' TomTom-141\TomTom.lua:32: in function <Interface\AddOns\TomTom\TomTom.lua:29> I was able to look at my map, and find a waypoint that was non removable I tried to use TomToms remove all waypoints feature, and got a confirmation dialog.. Every click of Yes on the dialog generates a new error. I was able to remove it via savedVars, and then started cleanly.
