TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality. Thanks to Esamynn for Astrolabe, which does the bulk of the work in this addon.
TomTom offers the following major features:
/way 14.78 23.90
/way Nagrand 45 50
/way 14.78 23.90 This is a waypoint!
/way reset all
/way reset Nagrand
/wayb Here
/wayback
/cway
/closestway

When using the LDB feed for the crazy arrow, the "no waypoint" icon should probably not look just like the crazy arrow. It keeps on briefly confusing me.

Would it be possible to make this mod work inside instances? I've can see coordinates inside instances so I would think it'd be possible. With this functionality it'd be great for getting the bads to take the correct portal in the yogg fight.

When does this occur? Does it occur when Cart3 isn't enabled?

tomtom crashes WoW on mac
Not sure if this makes any difference, but I am running the 10 Day Trial of WoW (no expansion). Supposedly, it's no different from the boxed one, other than restrictions on some social stuff like inviting ppl to groups. Blizzard says that when I do activate the account and go month to month, I keep using the same app - not to buy the retail version.
Anywho - TomTom crashes WoW at the very end of the 'loader bar' as I try to join the world. It shows up in the Addons just fine. Also - Cartographer2 has issues - though the game loads and when I get in world, any Carto slash commands crash WoW. Makes me think its an interface thing related to Mac? Tourguide loads and works (just minus any mapping features). Tried QuestHelper and it crashes just like TomTom. I've tried it on both a 2yr old macbook and a nearly new mbPro. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

More specifically it was implemented but I had to remove it due to certain issues.

Perhaps the answer is buried in the pages of comment but I was wondering. I noticed in the options under minimap there is a checkbox "Show waypoints in other zones" and it's checked and grayed out. Is there some way to ungray this so I can uncheck it? It would be really nice not to have 20,000 waypoint arrows all the time If it's a matter of minimap addon, I'm using simpleMiniMap still.

It's a waypoint addon. If you've installed it correctly then it will appear on the addon selection screen on the main character window. You can verify that it's loaded by typing /tomtom in your chat window, which should open the TomTom configuration window.
Beyond that, it depends on what you're trying to accomplish with TomTom.. so I don't have an easy answer for you.
