TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality. Thanks to Esamynn for Astrolabe, which does the bulk of the work in this addon.
TomTom offers the following major features:
/way 14.78 23.90
/way Nagrand 45 50
/way 14.78 23.90 This is a waypoint!
/way reset all
/way reset Nagrand
/wayb Here
/wayback
/cway
/closestway

Arrow takes you to wrong place, intermittently
I've seen this bug with both r174 and r176:
1. Use TomTom alone (without Cartogropher) 2. Add a waypoint in the distance, either manually using /way or via a Guide app like Kopp's Observed: Sometimes, the 3D arrow that helps you navigate will be pointing to a location that is offset a fair amount from the correct one. The condition can be quickly cleared, and detected, by showing and hiding the world map. You'll know the first arrow was wrong if its now pointing in a different direction. I haven't been able to figure out the pattern yet for why it happens vs. doesn't happen, or what the offset is. |

Edit description of custom waypoints?
Is it possible to edit the description of a custom waypoint (created when I ctrl-rightclick on the world map)?

I wonder how I could miss the fact that AddZWaypoint returns the waypoint's uid... Thank you. I shall ensure our users no longer trouble you about disappearing waypoints.

WolfieCA, this is Sinus from Zygor's coding team. I'm not sure your problem can be solved - Zygor's Guides need to change their waypoint whenever you complete the guide steps. I don't know (yet?) if there is a way to change+remove one waypoint without touching any others. I'll definitely investigate, especially if Cladhaire would be so kind as to point me in a proper direction. I mean, a way other than barging into the waypoints array and rummaging around, as that would be both potentially unsavory and somewhat unethical.

Sorry, bit of a newb (here) ..... Zygor's Guide is the offender as it interfaces with tomtom .... but I cannot seem to see what it is doing. |

What you have pasted isn't valid Lua code.. Also please do not post code here without using the code formatting block.. or you can post it on http://pastey.net. That prevents it from taking up so many lines.
When that option is set (and I can both set and clear it) the waypoints persist as I would expect them to. It also shows from your SV file that the waypoints _ARE_ being saved.
