What does Personal Sentry do?

Short answer:

It creates a popup menu of Players/NPC's by using your combat log, mouse-over, and/or minimap. You can 'left-click' the buttons to target or 'right-click' to target AND announce their position to a specified channel.

More detailed answer:

By using 'Sentry Mode' you will get enemy player targets to appear on the popup automatically if they do anything near enough to you that your combat log reports it. Also, the popup does more than just allow you to target and announce things. It can keep track of targets over time and adjust the background color fade to let you know which is more recently active (darker is higher priority). It removes dead targets (optional) and adds new targets as they appear. It will also update targetted and moused-over targets health (shown by how filled the colored bar is). It can keep track of all damage taken from enemies and you can also add enemy player targets to your own 'Hit List', which will give you extra warning if they appear on your popup.

Yeah, the cities will always pop. Nothing I can really do about that without causing an extreme resource usage by comparing every target to every known city name. =(

As for the party members, I've got that fixed in this release. =)

The filter mode in v1.27 was slightly broken which caused it to sometimes show everything regardless of the settings. This is now fixed in v1.28 which I just released. Sorry about that!

Also, there is an option to automatically announce enemy players on the options menu. Turn that on and set your announce channel to Local Defense to get the results you asked for. =)

wish there was a way to make it not detect every friendly NPC that moves when your in a city or town.

Would be kind of cool if when it detects an enemy player it could send a message to the local defense channel about the enemy player.

If It Helps, the Problem NEVER occurs for BG matches... It's an Specific Arena Match Thing. I have no clue why It happens, I tries to put the problem the clearest way possible here for Ya, but there's no Way to do it :P

Ah, well it's entirely possible that Arena's do something odd as I've rarely been in Arena matches myself. I'll have to get in a few this weekend and see what might be causing the problem. Thanks!

That's very strange indeed. I haven't had anyone else report this problem and I've been running it pretty extensively myself without any troubles of that sort.
