This is not really a patch for MyBags, it's an updated version for the 3.0.2 WoW patch. (Should also work in the WotLK beta.) This version fixes all known bugs. For really reals, this time.

As always, there're no guarantees that this mod works as I described above or even that it works at all. Also, I can't guarantee that it won't eat your hard drive for lunch. I'm just saying.

Please, please, please test this mod thoroughly and let me know if there're any more bugs.

* Commented out the KC_Items compatability code as it was interfering with the new KC_Items. Use MyBagsCache for item storage.

* Reverted to not using secure buttons to allow open/close in combat

* Updated to handle changes to ContainerIDToInventoryID
* Now using secure templates, so there's no longer any danger of accidentally using/moving the current character's items when viewing an alt

From memory I can mention Auctioneer (in embedded mode), NextStep, Mendeleev, MonkeyQuest, ManaPerc, HealPoints, TankPoints, Notes-U-Need, tekKompare and TinyTip, although that's probably a partial list. And outside the bag system I also use Fizzwidget AdSpace, which changes recipe tooltips in the Auction House. In short: trying to make MyBags compatible with specific addons most certainly isn't the correct approach. There's probably a more generic solution. Too bad I can't help with anything but beta testing. In any case, suggest and I'll try it, okay? PS.: All these addons work flawlessly with MyBags when RecipeBook is disabled.

It might have to do with other mods you have installed. Do you have any other bag-related mods? This includes anything that modifies the tooltip of items in the bags as well. kayde: I managed to stay away from WoW for about two months total before I broke down and renewed. Part of the decision to come back was how much fun I was having playing around with my broken mods trying to figure out how to fix them. That being said, I am not up to the task of converting MyBags to Ace2, which it so desperately needs. If you feel like taking the plunge, I'll be your #1 beta tester. Hell, that's how I got into this mess in the first place, helping Isharra fix some bugs I was experiencing.

I switched back to Bagnon in the meantime of this being gone, because I was having psychedelic trip outs when viewing the offline banks! LOL! Nothing against Bagnon, honestly. But nothing else out there covers all three offline viewings (bags, bank, AND character inventory) like the efficiency of MyBags. Others are ugly at best. Plus I desperately missed having the AIOI ordering that MyBags provides. My coding is still super-weak, but after I finish the latest two projects I'm working on, I hope to have time to try and tackle this for an Ace2 upgrade. Hell, I still have some tweaking to my fubar mods still to complete. I'm very sorry to see that you stopped playing, but I hope this finds you well and able to enjoy other things in your spare time. But it should work for now, and if it doesn't you can always roll the code back to the latest official version. Keep your eyes open for problems with MyBags interacting with RecipeBook, as it's just as likely that the error is my fault as it is hers.

Thanks go out to Kayde and toptek for bringing the issue to my attention and to alexgieg for providing me with some additional insight. Please let me know if there are any additional issues. Also, the changes I made in this version might cause an additional error in RecipeBook due to the way it hooks into my update functions. I've submitted a patch for RecipeBook to Ayradyss to alleviate the issue.

Not that I want to haste you, but those tooltips appearing and disappearing make it difficult to read some tooltips. I've seen other addons with tooltip problems solve this by adding "self" or "..." or "arg1" on lines with "whatever_OnEnter()", but I'm not a Lua programmer and I don't know where exactly these should go. Maybe this can help?

I have tried many bag addons out there, but so far MyBags is still the single best one at just everything: appearance, functionality, "configurability", and so on. I really hope it'll stay alive for yet many patches and expansions. I really don't know how I would be able to play without it.

My subscription hasn't officially expired, but it will soon. Seeing as how everyone associated with this mod has disappeared, I will continue maintaining it as long as that remains feasible. My brother and my roommate both still play (and I am still maintaining their guild mod pack), so I have access to a WoW account should the need for debugging arise (like now). Speaking of which, I'll see if there's anything I can do to alleviate the problems you guys described.

I use WoWcom , it give me a error if I use my bags and WoWcom to gather . but I'm waitng for WoWcom to fix things before i say any more. Hope that Helps some . toptek

Additionally, when viewing another characters bags, it has the same effect. The addon has been working flawlessly up to this weird functionality since patch 2.2 Has anyone had these strange flashes happening to them?
