HealBot Continued   

Would there be any chance to have a way for Grid (IncomingHealsLib and LibHealComm-3.0) to communicate with Healbot? I am a main healer in my guild, and it's hard if I am on party heals with another healer, she uses Healbot and we seem to heal the same member quite often without knowing it. This wastes mana and time.

anyone any idea? German client, class=Priest, gender=male, HealBot Version now: 2.4.1.0.

I can't see my own heal estimation, nor can anyone else in the raid see my heals. Heals from others are shown. Are there any dependencys that I've never noticed? Tried it whithout any other addon, even withdraw my wts folder. Got this problem with the wow patch 2.4 and it is presistant, even now (2.4.1). In adition: My group Heals are shown on "my" HealBot, as well as other raid members can see them...

Great addon, we do crossheal most of the time and I'am addicted to HealBot^^ - so far: GREAT JOB, Strife!!

Trying again since no one answered last time I asked a few days ago:

I tried deleting the savedvariables and making a completely new profile in case the new version wasn't compatible with the settings just in case to no avail. Went back to ver 2.40.1 with no such problems, except that resurrecting people by clicking on their names is fickle and ui has to be reloaded after any wipe to fix the issue.

what's the default time that the health bars update? i know there was an option in older versions of healbot that can change that value but was taken out. I'd like to speed up the update time a little so if it can be added back into the options it'll be really nice. If not, can i know what parameter to change in the code so i can speed it up myself? Thanks

a quick look at the code suggests it's this Action_Timer1, but i'm not sure.

I thought this was addressed but in our raid last night I had a problem with group changes.

Seconds before the fight started, the RL changed MTs during a fight against Al'ar.

The "new" mt disappeared from my healbot screen for the entire fight -- tried to reload my ui in a break in phase 1, but same thing.

I know this has been an issue in the past, is there anything to be done in combat once this happens as a work around??

Thank you for your help, but the issue isn't with the macro. I switched back to 2.3.3.11 and the macro works fine. I should remove the stopcasting though since it is no longer needed. I still need to try the 2.4.1.0 version to see if things were fixed. I havent had a chance since i have been raiding non stop since sunwell came out and I dont want to take chances with macros not working again in mid fight.

I read through a lot of the posts and was just curious. Is there a way to get healbot to target the person you are healing as well as heal. I have been running into problem trying to toss certain spells (blessing of protection) to a target. I'm finding myself having to have the full raid UI up as well as healbot so I can select people out. I'm probably just missing a setting or trick somewhere. Any help would be appreciated.

I am on a french server ans since the 2.4.0.2 version of healbot and seems to be working fine -- including my macros.

I have a macro very similar to yours which loads essence of the martyr and X'ri's Gift

I think you have to "use" a trinket not "cast" one .... Also, apparently stopcasting si no longer required, but this might get jammed up because of the handling of erreur messages?? This you don't have in your macro. Of course you probably should change the french into english -- Lumier sacré = you heal spell of choice.

Note : There are trinkets which will block the macro (those based on global cooldowns, I've found), but Essence of the Martyr is not one of those. This has nothing to do with 2.4.

Try a copy paste to see if it works. Hope it helps in anycase (othewise maybe you didn't erase your prior WTF files before installing the 2.4 version?).

PS -- maybe I'm blind but I can't seem to heal anyone out of my party/raid ; I used my old confi so long I forgot how to do this??

Nope, nobody was mced or out of range. The macro just bugs out and says that I have no target. I switched back to 2.3.3.11 and the issue has not occured a single time. I found it really strange when it happened, cause my greater heals werent going off and then realised it was because that particular mouse click is bound to a macro and noticed the text saying that i didnt have a target selected. I will try and reinstall the newer version and debug some more. But I know for sure it is an issue with macros, since all my other clicks were still working.

There seems to be a bug with macros. While doing Kalecgos my macro bugged out and kept saying that i had no target. It would work sometimes then all of a sudden bug out again. seems like the hbtarget proxy is not being updated correctly as it claims i have no target sometimes. This is with the newest version, it worked fine it v2.3.3.11.

*Edit: The macro I use is called Huge Heal and contains:
/cast Essence of the Martyr
/stopcasting
/cast [target=hbtarget] Greater Heal(Rank 7)
