HealBot Continued   

Would you ever consider adding Wheel Up & Wheel Down into the spells tab for commands?

I'd use them both a lot since I'm not a fan of modifiers & I doubt I'm the only one ;-)

Got this bug today when I tried to toggle test bars off after popping into an av:

I've got another question now..this might not be an issue for anybody but my nit picky self..but it's just strange to see..

The first picture is of me hovering over a 63 Warrior in Healbot..out of range..& it's only showing 2 of the click commands..Left = Rejuvenation Middle = Healing Touch..

The second picture is of me hovering over my 60 Druid self in Healbot..it's showing all the options available by my current click commands..

So when the warrior got into healing range..all the click commands populated correctly..but why do only those 2 Left & Middle show up when out of range..vs all of them..or none of them at all..

Is there something I can do to make the tooltip show all the options as in the second picture regardless of range..just because I think it looks nice ;-)

Well, since you asking... I guess you are not very familiar with macro syntax... let me explain.
"#showtooltip" helps with visual representation and feedback of the macro.
If you, say, do
It will be essentially the same as
Just less clobbered and more manageable.
Now, we get a "ruder" example.
First spell is still Nature's Swiftness, but we're intentionally overriding icon and tooltip of it, as it's so much less important than the spell we actually want to cast - Healing Touch. See the idea? Good, next in the way: at whom we want it to cast.
First and foremost - if you want to use macro in HB - [target=hbtarget,exists,nodead] will cast on the HB target that is exists and not dead. After second thought, i would remove "nodead" to match default behavior of HealBot, else if you accidentally click on a dead target in HB, it would descend to the next rules and probably mess things.
Then, if you are forced to play without HB or use a keybing - [target=mouseover,exists,noharm,nodead] will cast the spell on your mouseover target.
Lastly, if none of the above is satisfied - [target=player] will heal you.

Since WoW 2.4, you do not need /stopcasting to cast speels that do not trigger GCD.

Well I wrote it that way because it beats the global cooldown..I only have to press the bind once..will this new syntax also do that?

No.
1. You do not need to write spell name if it's first spell in macro.
2. Do not use multicast in the way you wrote it if you want it to be working.

I've only been using Healbot since 3.2.2.2 & have updated to every new release since..not many I know..haven't healed until now..

Anyway I wanted to report an issue I just had with 3.2.2.4..which I know..is now outdated ;-) but just in case it wasn't something fixed in 3.2.2.5 I just wanted to mention it..

So I'm a 59 druid at the moment..& had partied with a 61 blood elf death knight named Yooder..no crazy Ascii characters or anything just real letters..anyway his bar populated in Healbot but any time I clicked on it it did nothing..absolutely nothing..during this time I could click on my bar to heal myself no problem..but not the Death Knight..

I'm certain we were partied..his bar was there..it just didn't work :-/

I have Swatter & it didn't kick out a single error..

I'm sure the recommendation would be to update to 3.2.2.5 & attempt to reproduce..but unfortunately for me that death knight was just a random I met in the world..I guess I could try to find him again & would if it matters..just wanted to make note of the experience for your consideration ;-)

And in case you don't hear it enough..I adore Healbot ^^

-Editx2..I've got another rather fool question..what does it mean to "Blacklist" in Healbot..I'm sure I didn't do it to that Death Knight in question..since it's so many binds at once..I'd have known..lol..but what does it mean?

Healbot never ceases to amaze me. One of the best-maintained addons in WoW.

Alright..I looked..& I think I have the syntax right..just want to be sure..

So here is the macro in question I want to use in Healbot..

do I just make it..

And in the field of the mouse click I want to bind it to type the name of the macro? :-/

http://healbot.alturl.com/ has a nice guide and some examples for different classes.

Basically you just create a macro like normal and then instead of binding a spell to a mouse button in healbot you type the name of the macro. The key to getting macros to work with healbot is when creating them to make the target part be [target=hbtarget]. For example /cast [target=hbtarget] Flash Heal

This might be kind of dumb..but how do I tell healbot to use a Macro as say..middle click?
