Tried it. No go. Still errors out. Everything back to normal by just unchecking "Enable" within RatingBuster options.

Just checked this now and I have tooltips disabled for Outfitter anyway (overlaps EquipInspect tooltip at times).

Also tried disabling "Used By..." tooltip - no difference. Still dropping fps to 1 when tooltip up.

I just checked the download for 4.8b6 here on WoW and for some reason the update last night didn't get applied. This means that the .toc is still wrong and is loading the utf8 library incorrectly. I've re-uploaded the correct .zip file and it should be available once the moderators here approve it. Sorry for the confusion.

That means it's the wrong order -- utf8data.lua should be listed first, ahead of utf8.lua.

No, it should just work. Outfits will not be modified at all unless you click the WoW icon next to the outfit. The first click will equip the outfit if it isn't already (equipment manager requires you to be wearing your gear in order to save it). The second click will move the outfit to the EM. Clicking again will move the outfit back to your local machine and remove it from the EM.

The various Outfitter-specific settings such as scripts can not be stored on the server and are kept on your local machine instead. This means that if you log on to another computer you will see your server-based outfits like you'd expect, but their script settings will be missing and you'll have to re-apply them.

No, the equip manager APIs are available regardless of whether the UI is enabled, so Outfitter is happy with it enabled or disabled.

Here's some more info for you.

I also get the strutf8lower error within Outfitter\LibStatLogic-1.1.lua:5470 upon initial login.

And the hover issues appear to be a RatingBuster conflict. Something with the two addons that's causing some ugly error.
*Update. The error:

Seems like a bit of work on the add-on side to take all my current equip items and flip them to the equip manager.

Also, do we have to have the equip manager enabled for this to work? I have it disabled, since Outfitter has much more flexability.

The corrected version should be available once the moderators approve it.
Looks like the corrected version hasn't made it through yet, but for anyone else having this issue you can change the Outfitter.toc file manually to correct it. Just open up the file in the text editor of your choice and change lines 15 & 16 around so that

Code:
utf8data.lua
utf8.lua
becomes
Code:
utf8.lua
utf8data.lua
Once I made that change the error went away.

I get the same thing still when I reload the UI, but it seems to be fine when I initially log in.
