OmniCC  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 10.2.5
by: jaliborc, Tuller

Overview
OmniCC is an addon that adds text to items, spell and abilities that are on cooldown to indicate when they will be ready to use. In other words: it turns all the standard analogue cooldowns into digital ones.

Anything should work with OmniCC, from the action bars to the inventory, from the standard interface to your favorite add-on.

Saien left WoW.

I think you can pick up the code of Autobar and insert OmniCC support.

Up to WoW interface developers team.

Edit. Btw Saien is the author of Autobar.

His homepage:

As far as I'm aware, Autobar currently doesn't have any cooldown display, and this was an oversight on the author's part. Once its added, OmniCC should work fine.

Changes in 4236

Changes in 4236:
  • Renamed the folder to !OmniCC from !Omni_CC. Delete the previous folder before installing.
  • Saved variables have been moved into an array. You can delete your old saved variables file.
  • New command: /omnicc color <duration> <red> <green> <blue> - Sets the color to use for cooldowns of <duration>
  • New command: /omnicc hidemodel - Hides the normal cooldown model
  • New command: /omnicc showmodel - Shows the normal cooldown model
  • New command: /omnicc reset - Go back to default settings.

I also included a featureless version of the cooldown count as OmniCC_Min.lua. It doesn't have any saved variables, slash commands, or pretty colors

To use it, open up !OmniCC.toc and make it look like the following:
## Interface: 11000
## Title: Omni Cooldown Count
## Notes: Cooldown Count for Everything
## Author: Tuller
OmniCC_Min.lua

I've had CooldownCount installed for about 9 months now.

CooldownCount 229kb mem usage --> Omni 15kb mem usage!

Bye bye CooldownCount

(Oh and I'm using Card_Bars (Ace forums))

Great job Tuller!

A cursory look over the code of flexbar seems to say that flexbar both has a cooldown count, and it also hides the cooldown frame if its enabled. Currently, OmniCC uses the cooldown frame to perform updates on the cooldown.

The original Bongos cooldown did work fine. It seems to be an issue with dynamic frames. When the next patch comes out, I should in theory be able to fix it.

Its not just you You can fix it by changing the layer of the cooldown count, but it will blink if you do, and so far there doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of the blinking. To do this:

Open up Omni_CC.lua
find "ARTWORK"
replace with "OVERLAY"
