A panel that modules can plug into.

Features:

Drag and drop rearragement of plugins.
Any plugin can exist on left or right or be centered.
Automatically adjust frames (can be turned off)
Any number of bars (not limited to just 2), you can attach to the top, bottom, or detach any amount you want.
Can detach a tooltip and pin it to the UI.
Object-oriented design.
LoadOnDemand capabilities for plugins.
Modularity (absolutely no plugins are intimately connected to the core)
Minimal resource usage
Lots of handy features for developers.
Well documented API.
Skinning support
Can change the thickness, font size, transparency, spacing through simple sliders on the right-click menu.
Can place plugins on the minimap, which will function like standard minimap buttons.
Drag the edge of the bar to change its size

It is now no longer beta. Just so everyone knows, this does not mean new features will not be added or bugs won't be fixed, merely that the API is consistent for plugin developers. As long as I adhere to that, I'll be sure to add whatever needed features are requested.

First would make sure it Ace version 1.3 that you have. Then delete any folders reading FuBar or Bosspanel in the name, then download the latest FuBar and Starter pack, extract them and try it out. Should work, if it doesn't you may even try deleting the savedvariables related to FuBar.. located in folder: World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<AccountName>\SavedVariables\ And probably obvious, but just to mention make sure you don't have TitanPanel trying to load aswell.. not sure what would happen, but just throwing my line out, seeing if we can help you get it fixed -sVn-

sVn A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 1 File comments: 6 Uploads: 0	Some of these plugins have recent versions that fix this, but something in FuBar changed in how it handles tooltips and that long message is usually telling how to fix it.. basically you replace every instance of FuBarTooltip with self.tooltip in each plugin's main .lua file that's causing this error. Not sure if you feel comfortable doing that, but is quite easy and if you do that exactly.. it fixes up fine. Though most of the plugins may work now with latest versions. I am getting this error that you see in the screenshot coming up when I move my mouse over some of my fubar plugins. Like reagent, guild, mail, friends, just to name a few. Can anyone explain whats going on with this and how to fix it? I also get a message when I hightlight certain things like.. This plugin is using a depreciated tooltip scheme. Please upgrade to a more recent version. Anyone know whats causing these problems?

The usual response is "better memory management, better coding, etc." I would like to point out that this is often moot to the average addon user, who uses things like Gatherer and Lootlink that are massive memory hogs. The nicest differences I've seen that people never seem to mention and should - #1 - The ability to rearrange modules by dragging them. #2 - The ability to set any module to align to the right. #3 - The ability to disable and enable frame adjustment. #4 - The ability to make multiple bars that look seamless. #5 - The ability to "pin" a tooltip to the UI. The first one alone would have had me switching ages ago, if I had actually known about it, but Ace authors in general seem to get so up in arms whenever someone asks what is different between their mods and non-aced counterparts. Good job on this, definately a permanant replacement for Titan, even in this initially skeptic's eyes.

Sounds like you either dont have Ace installed or it isnt selected in your addons list to run when you logon.
