Wardrobe2 allows you to define unlimited equipment sets known as 'Outfits'. It then lets you switch between these outfits manually or when you mount or change forms/stances. This makes it easy to manage gear sets when in different forms for druids and shaman. It also allows you the ability to switch equipment when in specific stances for tanking or DPS. You can also swap equipment when switching to stealth mode.

My warrior will be in her Tanking outfit, and when she gets off of her mount it resets to her default DPS outfit and I have to go switch her back to what she was wearing before.

In 3.0.1 I will have an option to switch to your last outfit when you dismount if you do not have a default outfit.

It took about 20-30 minutes before I finally figured out how to get the addon to save my outfits correctly, since there's an obvious lack of a GUI interface to make it simplistic. The following is as detailed a step-by-step guide as I can provide for those interested in using this addon. 1. Install AceWardrobe (AWD). 2. Start up WoW, log in to whatever character you wish to setup AWD up on first. 3. Reload your UI. You may do this with either of these commands: a) /console reloadui b) /rl 4. Type the following: /ace profile char acewardrobe 5. Get into the first outfit you wish to save. For the purpose of this example, we'll assume that the first gear set you're in is a fire resist set. 6. Type the following: /awd save Fire Resist a) This will save the outfit as "Fire Resist", which is just a friendly name that you can easily remember. You may use whatever name you wish for this. 7. Get into your next outfit of gear. 8. Type the following: /awd save name a) name should be replaced with whatever name you want assigned to your gear. For instance, if this set of gear is your DPS set, perhaps type /awd save DPS Gear Repeat steps 7 & 8 as often as necessary to fill out your entire set of outfits. 9. Decide on what you want as your "default" outfit. This is the outfit you plan on being in the most often. You have several choices to assign a default outfit. a) You may decide to have no default outfit. This will prevent your outfit from being changed every time you dismount. To do this, type: /awd default blank b) You may decide to have your first outfit as your default outfit. To do this, type: /awd default 1 c) You may decide to have another of your outfits as your default outfit. To get a list of your current outfits, type: /awd list. To set the outfit, type: /awd default #. # is the number of the outfit you wish to make the default outfit. 10. Read the in-game help! There's plenty of more options that you can use to setup your outfits and make your gear switch based on different forms and whether or not your mounted, but I will not re-hash what's available as help in-game. Please type /awd for all the available options you have. On a side note, I highly encourage the addon author to spend the 5 minutes that is required to write up a guide similar to this to put into the Readme file so others who may not have the time to spend figuring this out have a handy reference to go from. In-game help will only go so far, and it's your responsibility as an addon author to provide documentation for your users to access or they will become easily frustrated and go with competing addons that are far easier and better documented. If you want, you may even use this guide directly, provided you acknowledge that it was written by Snakexc of Medivh. That being said, I would highly suggest this addon to those who are willing to take the time to try and (possibly) fail to set it up exactly the way you want it the first time. It does take a little getting used to (considering I'm switching from Wardrobe-AL to AceWardrobe, I'm already missing the GUI), but the memory overhead is far less, and there are a plethora of options available to the user that some other addons just can't offer. Once you get past the initial learning curve, it is definitely a very powerful addon.

vexis58 A Murloc Raider Forum posts: 4 File comments: 64 Uploads: 0	This mod doesn't seem to consider a Priest's Shadow Form to be a "form" so if you want to have two separate outfits for healing and shadow, you're forced to switch them manually every time you go into shadow form (or make a macro of some kind for this). Any chance of adding this to forms? Also, making a "Naked" equipment set doesn't remember my lack of a melee weapon. Everything is unequipped except for my melee weapon, which I then have to unequip manually, even if I was wearing nothing when I created/updated the set. I use this to unequip my gear while feigning death in case of a wipe in a raid, and it's definitely an inconvenience to have to change part of my set manually every time. It refuse to save anything for me. When i made a new AceWardrobe profile with ace it also screwed up my FuBar settings. I really think this mod has potential and can work very well but honestly i think its not very userfriendly.

(especially the keybinding stuff)

Please do... 20 minutes trying to figure out how to even create an outfit. More time trying to get them to save and still more time to get them even working. Over an hour trying to set this up for my druid and it still says "# of outfits: None" though a /wd save Default tells me it is saving.

Going back to Outfitter for now. At least it is easy to use.

Right now it appears to work as follows: DPS gear on. Mount -> Mounted Gear Dismount -> Default Gear Then I have to manually put it back to my DPS gear. Please, let me know what I can do to only equip the 3 mount speed items and put back on whatever I was wearing before mounting. It's very very annoying to always have my Default gear put on when I dismount. I was using Outfitter and loved how it handled situational gear. Riding, mining, skinning, etc... Only changing the gear I need for that situation and switching it back out when I was done. Edit: I see in the patch notes that it is suppose to switch back to the set you were wearing before mounting (ver2.1.3) Is there anyway to designate just the items to change instead of an entire outfit though? It's in the directory, and activated, however nothing shows up on the titan bar or the titan bar menus. Second, I was using Wardrobe-AL prior to Ace, until i ran into bugs with the latest version. I had an outfit on there which removes everything but my bow, ammo, rings, and necklace (used for situations with a lot of dieing, to save on repair bills). Ace Wardrobe does not remove the primary or secondary weapon, instead it gives me an error that "[] is not found in inventory"

I can't stand how it autochanges outfits for me. I keep clearing it but everytime I dismount it keeps putting me into a different outfit. I only want to change outfits manually.

I'm holding it off here though as I have a few more changes for 2.1.3 before I release it tonight. I believe I finally squashed this bug in 2.1.3. I will post it before I head out to hang with the guys tonght. The issues was basically I check for combat in multiple functions. It was sending the wear command but I queue it if it gets there too.
