There's a new beta update on my google code website:
http://tullamods.googlecode.com/file...onBeta7227.zip

It should be the last update before the release, and I think its quite stable.

I'm back to using no bank/bag mods whatsoever because I'd rather split things up than have such an annoyance. I'm not sure why yours and onebag automatically move the tooltip location to the cursor but if you could change that it would be immensely appreciated.
Err, are you using any tooltip addons? Bagnon anchors tooltips to the same positions as the default bags do.

I'm begging you...

Please please please please please institute the following:

Tooltip location in the normal spot on the screen.

I love everything about Bagnon and vBagnon but I'm so tired of going through my bags and not seeing half of my stuff because I am mousing over my inventory. I'm back to using no bank/bag mods whatsoever because I'd rather split things up than have such an annoyance. Thanks!

I was using it to keep track of how many ore's i've gathered today. So I can see where i'm at without showing the whole bag.

I often use it when I goto the AUction House, I was dragging the armor window by the Post Auction window, since almost all of them are things I need to auction. .. Don't have to find them in the bag, the window shrinks to nothing when thier gone. yeah worked good for me.

Like somebody else said, i use it to keep track of quest items as well. Would be nice to be able to choose custom categories better. And also to be able to have them open or close with the bag toggle button. ALtough the more I think about it, that should be optional some people may want them to stay open certain times.

Trash category doesn't matter so much, since I just sell it first chance I get. With GarbageFu or whatever.

My feedback

Ya ... Categories are very useful for finding quest and trash items

I am not entirely sure if this is part of bagon, but when i hover over an item while my bags are open the tooltip will display how many are on other characters. Now this is great but it doesn't count the one that you have on the toon your on. It would be nice to output a total for the amount each toon has then sum up the total fors a grand total.

Anyhow very glad to see that your active again - in any form bagon is by far the best mod for my inventory needs

The vBagnon categories is the best thing.
Categories highligth and Categories only show is very useful for selling trash item, oganizing greed boe etc.
Please implement same funct to the bagnon.

Sad to hear that Tuller. I found that after fiddling with the category's vBagnon works great. I always know where my trash is, find consumables fast and so on.

The way I used categories was to separate my quest items, consumables and trade goods from all the other junk I picked up. Making it easier to find items for questing, the auction house, and trash that could be easily sold for bags space.

The two things that vBagnon lacked were:

1. To be able to show only specific items within category.
To give an example, I don’t care about the other items that showed up in my “Trade Goods” category, I only care about the ore, stones, and cloth. All the other trade items are worthless to me and I have no interests in seeing them in that category.

2. Better layout interface
Another add-on called Baggins has a nice interface when you select “all in one sorted” profile, but I find your basic interface (without categories) far more functional. The buttons you created in vBagnon never really worked well for me. I found it confusing how the images on the buttons changed depending on what I had in my bag. Baggins displayed categories in a less functional way, but more intuitive.

I think that categories are a power tool for inventory add-on like Bagnon, but maybe it would be better to have a way to switch between interfaces. Have the basic Bagnon style when questing and then have a mechanism to switch to category like view when selling, mailing, banking, or visiting the auction house. And maybe that mechanism could be a simple button you push to switch between styles.

That is my two cents, thank you for your time and I appreciate all that you do for this community.

great mod Tuller would like to add that I use the categories as well. I'm not the most organized when it comes to putting stuff in the bank or bags, so when I need to find herbs, armor, etc quick it's really easy and time saving to click on one button so I know exactly what I have versus visually scanning the whole inv (I continually forget the /find feature heh ). But yes, I would like to see the categories stick around.

Oh, and same question as the guy below, will viewing of alt's bags/banks be brought back or did Blizz permabreak that?

Again, great mod, and thank you for all your time and effort you put into it

I made an account to to post this:

I like the categories for vBagnon, though I didn't use them for a long time. As a Druid I keep many sets of gear and it was nice to have all my armor in one chunk, trinkets and weapons too.

That's great news, Tuller! I have to admit I never used the categories, but would have a hard time living without /find or the double-click feature to highlight stuff in your inventory. I'll give the new beta a spin later.

I've decided to go back to classic Bagnon, which you can find a beta of here. I apologize for the lack of updates, but I've been going back and forth between both versions, leveling to 70, and busy with other things.
