Hey, I have noticed a compatibility issue with your add-on, bagnon, and an add-on I use, freerefills. When I disable bagnon, items I want to loot from my bank will loot fine; but whenever bagnon is enabled, no items I have listed in my list for freerefills will loot into my bag inventory from my bank. I believe someone talked about this a while ago in the history of the comments on this add-on, but it was never addressed. Since you just updated your mod today and I know you'll be checking comments, maybe this could be put on the "to-do" list or something so I can enjoy the usefulness of freerefills and your wonderful mod as well. Thanks

Download says 1.4.2 !? Shouldn`t it be 1.4.3? Just a detail...

Items with random properties (such as resist items) are showing 0 stats when viewed through Banknon.

It appears that Banknon is dropping the last number sequence of the item ID and replacing it with 0 (it's not a random number)

Example: Wrathfin Waistband of Nature Protection
When viewed with the bank open, item id is 24838:0:0:0:0:0:-34:1328087072.
Shows +32 Stamina, +21 Nature Resist.

Close the bank, open Banknon, view the same item.
Item ID is 24838:0:0:0:0:0:-34:0
Item shows +0 Stamina, +0 Nature Resist.

This happened with both 1.4.0 and 1.4.2.

(Edit) Also just notice that trying to paste one of the affected items into chat will fail. It shows the name as regular text instead of a link.

That's due to the new tooltip updating code introduced in 2.2. Basically, you can get rid of the OnUpdate junk, and just replace it with item.UpdateTooltip = Item.OnEnter and it should handle things fine. I'll try and remember to take a look at the code in the morning.

The double linking issue was caused by Blizzard moving the modified click check (when the user ctrl/shift/alt + click) from the frame's PostClick event (easy to alter) to Click (not possible to alter due to secure code stuff).

Basically, click is called, which contains blizzard's linking stuff, which does not handle viewing items on other characters, then post click is called, which contains bagnon's linking stuff, so you see two links.

What I've done to get around this is make a dummy slot that takes over a cached slot whenever you hover over one. It allows me to safely override the click behaviour of normal slots, without altering blizzard's code at all.

Somehow, I think I probably just confused you :P
Yes and no. I completely understand what you're saying about Blizzard moving the modified click check and I kinda understand what you're saying about the cached dummy slot but I don't know exactly how you accomplished that. I'm new to lua but love a good challenge and you gave me something to work with. Thanks for the tips.

I had this problem too, with the new bagnon I downloaded yesterday after patch release (version history.txt says it's 1.4.0). When comparing the new lua file to the old one, it looks like the new one removed a bunch of code that checks for nil itemids, so it thinks that those recipe links are items, tries to access them as items, and errors because the recipe link isn't an item. I reverted to my 2.1 version of bagnon, deleted my bagnon database (newer database apparently incompatible), and it works again.. other than double links when shift clicking.
Thank you for the detailed report, its fixed in 1.4.2

I've modified the tooltips.lua to add the (self) tags to the couple lines that needed it and now I can see items in my bags again but I'm still having the double linking issue that you fixed in your updated bagnon version. I know you're a busy guy and spending lots of time updating several addons but I was hoping that you could point me in the right direction of what was causing the double linking issue so that I can bandaid this older version of vbagnon for myself and my guildmates until you get around to updating that mod. Thank you in advance for any help/hints you can send this way.

Item info from other characters

I have several characters on one realm, however the tooltip information isn't recognizing the item information from the other characters. Only one profile shows up in the display even though I've logged over and opened up the bank and bag information.

Also, the sub-category bags are gone. There used to be the ability to click on weapons, trash, quest items, and etc....

------------------
Problem resolved for not being able to see other character information. The bagnon_forever addon was disabled for some characters.

Smile Re: Re: Who are these T00Ns?

I had the same problem not showing tooltips causing this error:

Message: ..\FrameXML\ContainerFrame.lua line 602:
attempt to index local 'self' (a nil value)

After disabling/enabling addons (using bagnon btw, great addon )
I found out that the addon "pickingskill" for my rogue was causing this..
