I registered at Localizer.Norganna.Org and the translation is 100% finished but this website doesn't support buttons, options, settings windows. As I said, it would be cool if Gatherer could be translated completely.

Gatherer is localized to function in all languages in which WoW is released- and more, in fact. For instance, you can choose Greek and others that are not normally available. Now, whether the translations are complete is another matter. Sometimes folks offer to help and request a new language set and then lose interest, so only a few items are actually showing on the client side. We utilize http://Localizer.Norganna.Org for all such work, simply create an account and you can correct or supply input for any features/functions that are not being shown under Gatherer's frFR subsection. You can also post on our main bulletin board, http://Forums.Norganna.Org , down under the Gatherer discussions, and we can help you get started. You will need an account to post on the message boards, but that takes all of a few seconds to create. Do so by clicking the sign-in link in the upper right. Happy Gatherering, Nikk

An update is planned for Cataclysm. As to more volunteer help, that is assuredly always welcome. Just post in the Gatherer topic on our main forums at http://Forums.Norganna.Org. You should only need to import the database once. Verify that your local machine account has Full Access and is owner of the WTF directory and all subdirectories/files. Happy Gatherering, Nikk

Seeing Gatherer marked as Out of Date is normal, just place a checkmark in the "Load Out of Date" checkbox until the next version is released. As to the error, that is actually an error from Informant, that is included with our Auctioneer Suite. No need to worry though, the fix is fairy painless. Close completely our of WoW and then find and delete ..\WorldofWarcraft\WTF\Account\<YourWoWAccountName>\SavedVariables\Informant.lua. The only thing you will need to do is re-set any settings you have changed to the Informant configuration. Also, take this as a good time to begin backing up your AddOns and their settings/data. Having good backups can be very helpful, especially should something like Gatherer's data become corrupted for some reason. See the steps contained on our main site's wiki - they are slanted toward Auctioneer, but just go with the "entire WTF" route, at http://Wiki.Norganna.Org/Backup . Happy Gatherering, Nikk

Gatherer and Cataclysm
Is gatherer getting updated for Cataclysm and if someone wanted to volunteer to help and learn where would that person go to sign up?

The "out date" really means nothing, just click the select box to Load Out of Date in the main WoW AddOns Control panel and things will work fine. There are no issues that should be erroring, so, please copy the first error that pops up, ID: 1, and paste the complete message in a follow-up post here. Happy Gatherering, Nikk

This got lost in my mailbox but I do have sort of an answer. I finally went back to AlphaMap3 and the tooltips show up again. They still don't show on the Blizzard supplied map but that's less of a concern now.

Hi!
I have the same problem. Can't see the tooltips on the WorldMap. BUT... I can see them all when i'm in combat (odd...!), and after the combat, I still can see the one on the zone I was watching on the Worldmap during fight, but can't see the others. After reloging, still can see the ones I was able to see previously. After exiting and reloading game too. Will I have to watch every map during combat for the tooltips to stay there? lol Not using Blizz Quest Tracker. Tried with/without Mapster and Cromulent. Doesn't make a difference. Hope it will help fix this, love this addon!

With what they appear to be changing, no, it should not. As we get closer to/the actual release we will know for sure. Blizzard has rarely had exactly the release on the PTR, even though that is supposedly the whole point, so we shall see. Happy Gatherering, Nikk
