    About the UI
    After years of UI designing and the success of my DicateUI remake, VxtUI, I started looking for a new UI build that was different from what I had been using, while keeping all the visual appeal I find necessary to enjoy the projects I undertake. This UI is the culmination of ideas other designers have used that I have seen and enjoyed, plus adding my own touch to suit my needs.

    In terms of functionality, this UI is made for PVE Raiding. I have been using this UI, and have ran into zero issues using it in a progression-oriented, 25-man Heroic raiding guild. I have laid information out so important info is consolidated and easy to find, while keeping certain elements built around it to make great use of the screen space. While it is set up for 25-man raiding, using this for 10-man raiding is fully possible, and with some tweaks, this could also serve as the base for a PVP-oriented UI.

    The resolution of this UI is 1920x1080. I will not format it to fit any other resolution. If you use a different resolution, you will have to configure it yourself.

    Installation

    1. Unzip VxtUI Gen 2.rar to your desktop.
    2. Back-up your current Interface and WTF folders and remove them from your World of Warcraft folder.
    3. Copy the Fonts, Interface, and WTF folders from VxtUI Gen 2 into your World of Warcraft folder.
    4. Rename the ACCOUNTNAME, Server, and Character folders inside the newly copied WTF folder to your appropriate information.
    5. Launch World of Warcraft and set display settings to Windowed(Fullscreen) and make sure it is at 1920x1080.
    6. Make sure you have "Load Out-of-Date AddOns" checked and log into your character.
    7. Load VxtUI via the nibProfileLoader prompt box. The UI will reload automatically.
    8. Select the "Vxt" profile in the Gnosis GUI screen.
    9. Type /rl to reload the UI opne last time.
    10. Enjoy!

    Did some more tweaks tonight. Fixed a few issues I was having with masque, so I will be adding Masque plus the Masque skin I was using back into this UI.

    Also, if you have experienced any input lag recently with the UI, I HIGHLY recommend enabling Reduce Input Lag.

    Follow these steps:
    System > Advanced > Reduce Input Lag > Enabled

    Been working little by little on the layout of alot of the elements of the UI. For the most part I have moved some stuff around a little to create a better screen presence. I am also messing around with using Clean Icons only and no Masque profile. So far it's working well. I will edit this post with a screen so everyone can see.

    The shadow around the screen is ncShadow. you can reduce the shadow via the slash command '/shadow # '. You simply enter the number 0-100 where the # is. If you don't like it at all, you can simply delete the addon. It has no impact on the UI's performance, and is purely an aesthetic element. I use it simply to add more of that shadowy feel to the Ui that the other elements have.

    Hey mate, really like the UI and have just started using it. Making a few minor adjustments to suit my style but one thing I can't work out is the fade around the edge. I'm not really sure I like it and was wondering if there was an option to turn it off anywhere? Apart from that awesome work, keep it up

    I have it said to show while solo. If it is not showing up at all, try pressing the Insert key. I have that keybound to Show/Hide Skada and Delete is keybound to reset all Skada data.

    Well Vxt is a short slang for Vexed. AFter awhile I just decided to use the xt for alts. Most of my alts are the first letter of the class plus xt (Wxt for warlock, Sxt for Shaman, Rxt for rogue). Nxt is the name of my hunter because Hxt was taken and since he's a Night Elf, I tried Nxt and it was open.

    To be honest, I'm always making alts and messing around. I used to have all my characters named with names that were somewhat lore-based, but had a more Japanese folklore aspect to them as well.

    I have a terrible time deciding on things like that, so it is a weird process. Same can be said as to why I have around 10 UI's I have made (Only 2 have been released).

    So I have been messing around with a new button layout. I may not use it for the release, but if you like it, PLEASE let me know, so I can make a decision to use it for the releases or keep it as a personal config.
