What's in this version
5.4.2 Alpha 5
- Rewrote MapAddIcon, now accepts a name (must be unique) and Carbonite caches it, so you only need to make one call per login for each icon
MapAddIcon("unique name", area, x, y, "tooltip", "texture")
- New function MapRemoveIcon("unique name",area)
- New option under "Show" right click menu to show and hide these new Custom Icons on the map

- Fixed bugs in AddCustom, will no longer replace all quest watch functions and tooltip button should always show

- New NPCScan overlay module in extra to handle the new way carbonite loads.
- I'm sure there is other things i'm forgetting... I really should track what I add better :P

How do I active the map to see live mining nodes? I can see the cartographer style ghost nodes, but not actual minable nodes on the minimized/maximized Carbonite map

minimap

sorry but i cant figure out how to disable the "box of names" that appear on minimap when i hover over it. it overtakes most of the map due to the size i have to set to. i really just use the addon for the punk detection to be honest and this feature ruins it for me really. thank you~!

Thumbs up I'll help with the Portuguese of Brazil

Hello, I will contribute from now, adjusting the location of the Portuguese of Brazil.

I already have adjusted the BattleGrounds and Timeless isle, I will henceforth arranging various raids and dungeons that do not show the map (hopefully all right).

And please do not abandon the project, carbonite is the best of all the addons. And do like I told you, simplify carbonite, is no longer needed as much information within the addon, just your map is already more than enough.

Sorry some mistakes in english, I'm not so good in english to speak, but I understand well.

I had that problem until I loaded the newest update from 9/13/13... try that already?
Actually that's when the issues started. I see there's a newer release now. I'm going to try it out and hope for the best.

Minimap Tracking and Slash Command?

I'm trying to figure out a slash command to clear the minimap tracking? I want to track the TI rares, but after about 6 or so get chained, the tracking doesn't help... suggestions?

And yes, I know I can right click and "clear goto" but I'm hoping for something I can macro into a /command style to just hotkey it.

Thank you EVER so much for taking on the task of continuing this for us. I'm definitely willing to contribute for this UI mod. Your help is appreciated!

Minimized Carbonite map.

So glad Carbonite has made a resurgence. The issues I'm having are with the minimized map. First, when the minimap is combined with the map it appears as a black circle both indoors and in instances. I have read and tried various suggestions on the board including turning transparency all the way up and all the way down. Since I updated to the Beta version I also have an issue where the map is on top of all other open frames including mail and character info.
I've turned off all but my base addons without resolution on either issue. I would appreciate anyone's insight into these issues. Thanks.

Carbonite is causing errors with TomTom. I already posted on the TomTom page and Cladhaire believes this is an issue with Carbonite. I am using TomTom v50400-1.0.0 and Carbonite 5.4.0 Alpha 1 R1 (both from WowInterface).

1. TomTom runs fine without Carbonite
2. I enable Carbonite using the ACP addon and I immediately hear Fatality twice and stops (I am alive - This is from Bugsack grabbing errors)
3. TomTom's arrow is replaced by a square shaped area that has numerous tiny unreadable symbols and Unknown Waypoint at the bottom of it.
4. If I die, I hear repeating Fatality that doesn't stop until I reload my UI
5. Buggrabber has this error:
