- Rewrote MapAddIcon, now accepts a name (must be unique) and Carbonite caches it, so you only need to make one call per login for each icon

Any Chance of a new Alpha Soon?

I know you're busy, but is there any chance of a new Alpha Release soon, with the Quest log changes? I know you are trying to present a finished product, but even an incremental change would be an improvement over what we have now.

it seems the beta version of carbonite has started to lag me out completely.
Not sure if it's the latest blizz hotfixes or what.
I normally have 70+ fps, but if I log in with Carbonite Beta (latest version) it drops down to 1 fps and I have to disable it, then my framerates go back up to normal.

Error issues

I have gone thru and checked each add-on and Carbonite seems to be the one giving me this issue. When I have the mini map up it causes my game to error out and close or freeze up and I have to reboot my computer. After installing it fresh I get it to function ok untill I run a random or LFR then after it starts back with the freezing and/or closing the game out. I also notice that right before this happens the mimi map has no detail to it and does not function like it should.

Not sure what happened in this update, but I've installed a clean version of this (removed old savesVariables) and it appears that the quest tracker cannot be resized anymore. Also moving the frame around is very bugged. Minimizing also doesn't work anymore.

It's clearly broken

Quest tracking options

Hi there!

One feature that's changed (or I may be mis-remembering) between stable and 5.2.x beta, is the way quest tracking colors work on the map/mini-map.

I swear, I remember the old version using semi-transparent blobs (of different colors), and simply making the "current" quest slightly more opaque. In the current beta version, the "current" quest is always 100% solid opaque, and also always becomes color #1.

There's an option for mouse-over alpha level... could we get an option for "current" quest alpha level?

Great work guys.... I like the modularity, and I very much like having a unified settings profile, rather than having to copy from a known good character's setup.

hmm it seems, every time i reload my ui, the quest database is refreshed and trackable. dunno if that helps or not! i would love to see it finished soon though!

Quest tracker thing-a-ma-bob

Hi, I just upgraded to this version of Carbonite and noticed right away that they quest tracker is missing. I can't figure out how to turn it on in the options. I am talking about the drop down menu that could be collapsed, but showed the quests you were on, along with the progress.

Edit : I am also not getting Quest Complete reports in the chat pane.

Edit 2 : Ok, I downloaded 5.2, not the Beta version, which I didn't see available the first time and it seems to have fixed my problems.

Quest area bubbles

First thank you for keeping this addon alive.
Looked all over and I saw a few things on this but couldn't find a clear answer

I really miss my quest bubbles in pandaria. All of the old world locations still work, but in pandaria all i get is the circled x mark on my carbonite map.

Is there any eta on carbonites bubbles back?
Is there a way to get blizzards bubbles to work in either the carbonite map, or the mini map?

I have clicked the quest poi tab in the minimap magnifying glass icon, but I do not get any bubbles in mini map other then archaeology areas

This objective is not in the database

Any idea on when these" This objective is not in the database" errors will be resolved? None of the quests are working for me on the Isle of Thunder. Bit of a bummer, XP. Just gotten way to accustomed to Carbonite over the years I suppose.
