Change log for v1.1
Code:
  • Updated ElvUI to v5.04 and re-organized the UI profile from scratch.
  • Moved the core of the UI down to allow for more room in prime viewing areas. (this will probably stay this way. It is in a perfect position in my opinion).
  • Changed text to look more unified and easier to read within the unit frames.
  • Changed the health colors. They no longer changed based on value. This was adding too many different color elements and was causing (for me at least) the UI to look cluttered and confusing. Health and Power texts color still change based on value.
  • Changed the power color for all classes besides Warrior. Having a unified color in the Power Bar made the UI look a lot more clean and sticks to the color scheme and theme.
  • Increased the font size on CC auras above nameplates.
  • Pet frames now appear above the target's target frame and the pet's target is above his. Very unified and looks good.
  • The cast bar that is attached to the power bar is recolored. Black with a gold spark signifies interrupt-able casts now. It looks way sleeker.
  • Remove KGPanels mid left and mid right boxes and aligned the CD timeline with exact precision.
  • Replaced the icons with Clean Icons - Crisp
  • Changed the action bars to be closer to the CD timeline and flow better.
  • Changed the spell color that appears on the CD timeline.
  • Added a small scrolling combat text on the right of the player that is used to show big hits. I allowed it to also show all output but it clears fast. This keeps unnecessary output from cluttering the screen but allows you to easily spot when a target is immune, resisted or missed. Crits are set to stick and jiggle for extended time so you can marvel at your big hits/heals. It scrolls like a half moon unifying into the design and flows nicely.
  • Added a much requested addon (in other profiles) called "Hermes". The addon shows important raid wide cool-downs such as important tank and healer abilities. This is a highly saught after addon since it shows how many CDs and which ones are available even before they are cast. I fully customized it and it is currently configured for a DPS to see who fucked up in the raid. You can add/remove any spells you want specific to your role by simply typing /hermes config.
  • Rogue Specific: Unified the combo bar so when it is idle it looks more sleek and it is now easier to tell when you have 5 combo points.
Change Log for v1.11
Code:
  • Reduced the size of the UI overall which makes for a more defined, compact feel and also allows for more screen.
  • Changed the border style, texture and color theme. This obviously makes everything look more pixel perfect.
  • Unified the colors better across the entire UI.
  • Spent hours making sure everything lined up perfect and is the EXACT same of its comparable window.
Change Log for v1.12
Code:
  • Parented the panels with ElvUI's panes to make sure the UI is aligned at any resolution.
  • Changed power colors to a more subtle color that matches the overall theme of the UI.
  • Added scrolling combat text for incoming and outgoing, neatly position beside the respected unit frame. They half circle and fade into the unit frame.
  • Re-skinned Skada and made it form-fit and match the left side better.
  • Edited Comergy so it will support Monks and it now has a 6th color (white) that will show "Anticipation" combo points.
  • Added a GCD spark that moves across the FX cool down bar. This has been aligned to be pixel perfect.
  • Added and customized an addon called oPie. By holding CTRL and a key, you open up a large wheel that displays items/abilities/macros/mounts--basically anything you want. I have customized it to what I have, but you can easily edit and customize it yourself, including binds. This serves as a great way to reduce action bars used for needless space wasting macros like Leatherworking or Cooking. I will be making a video of this soon.
Change Log for v2.0
Code:
  • Complete unit frame overhaul. New design reduces clutter and adds more originality to the setup since creating these frames is not available without Lua changes and custom configuring.
  • Portrait Lua has been edited to zoom out and position better on the models to show the eye area. Not every portrait will be perfect, but this is an issue with model viewing in ANY portrait since Blizzard does no officially support 3d models. They use 2D.
  • OPUI addon has been added which has all Lua changes besides portrait. This way if you do not like the health bar and cast bar direction you can simply disable the addon. This also allows you to update ElvUI as freely as possible without worrying about Lua reverting to default.
  • Lua has been edited to reverse the cast bar, health bar and power bar on the player frame. It has also been edited to make the targettarget frame drain vertically. This adds a nice outward effect to the UI.
  • Portrait turns into a cast bar with icon.
  • Made the poison Weak Auras only occur when using a Rogue. This way you can have my raid auras available when playing other characters.
  • ForteXorcist has been skinned from within inside the Addon. The icons are now square and crisp to fit the design of the UI better. Also, the glow effect has been removed from the secondary splash and the animation update has been increased to allow smoother gliding and splashing. The skin was done by Meat and updated by Landy here: http://www.tukui.org/forums/topic.php?id=23060 . Big thanks to those guys.
  • Edited power colors and spell colors for Unit Frames and Forte to appear easier on the eyes and uniform with the design.
  • By request, I added a new addon called Vex. It is FULLY skinned and bordered and will convert the right combo bar into whatever the class uses. Chi, Runes, etc... For a full list of what it does, visit the addon description here: http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/vexcombo
  • Added Vuhdo support. The addon is NOT included, but I skinned and customized it for a healer. The saved variables are in the UI and if you decide to download the addon, the profile will be available. Although, there is nothing ElvUI's raid frames cannot do that Vuhdo can. It also runs lighter using ElvUI raid frames. I simply did this because of a request.
Change Log for v2.1
Code:
  • Separated the critical heals and damage for both incoming and outgoing and positioned them on the left and right of the character respectively. This avoids having to move your head to see your crits. Amazing while checking out videos or making sure you log those big numbers! I love that I was able to figure this out.
  • Added healing and tank support. This moves the party and all size raid frames above the unit frames neatly and organized. It also changes from a integrated aura icons and aura bars to a straight aura icons setup. Buff icons to show bigger than debuff icons on the player frame and debuff icons to show bigger than buff on the target frames. This way you can still see your power ups clear while reducing clutter and keeping friendlies at arms length. Much more uniformed and easy to heal this way. No need to turn your head or stare at frames while healing or tanking. To enable this profile, just go to the profile options within ElvUI settings (/ec) and change the profile to "OPUI Healer/Tank."
  • Updated ElvUI and all addons.
  • Created a GitHub profile for live updates on the UI.
  • Tweaked some panels and fixed some resolution scaling issues.
  • Moved out both left and right chat panels by 10 pixels (20 total) to leave more room in the center. This is the perfect distance and will remain this way indefinitely.
  • Started working on pet frames and better positioning.
Change Log for v2.1b
Code:
  • Added support for 1680x1050 resolution. "/reflux switch OPUI1050"
Change Log for v2.1c
Code:
  • Just made some quick changes to the location of the MSBT scrolling text for information.
  • Streamlines several font sizes and conformed them with the UI.
  • Tweaked several frame sizes and brought the UI back to its original size and it is pixel perfect.
Change Log for v2.1d
Code:
  • Tweaked several addons to fix some design flaws.
  • Fixed several oPie binds.
  • Edited the part frames in the Healer/Tank setup to look cleaner while still giving QOL information as well as important.
  • Started setting up for different resolution support.
Change Log for v2.11
Code:
  • Fixed issues with MSBT on tank and healer setup.
  • Placed a static "Notification" scrolling area neatly above the character. This way you can get live text notifications of everything that is happening that is not outgoing or incoming damage. This can be great for support roles or raid leading. I greatly reduced the scroll size so it is still clutter free like the rest of the UI.
  • Fixed portrait zoom issue, although there are some models (human) that will move slightly. This is a Blizzard issue and is present in all forms of 3-D model viewing in any addon.
  • Fixed Stance Bar position to bottom left of the screen.
Change Log for v2.2
Code:
  • Added a Power/Mana bar that form fits the design when full. This allows monitoring Power much easier while still not being cluttered.
Change Log for v3.0
Code:
  • Addon is now WOD ready!
  • Added Vex Power bar positioning and fading to keep the UI minimal while out of combat.
  • Adjusted the cast bars to be perfectly aligned.
  • Fixed issues with KGPanels finding custom borders. (I am working on the background issues and cleaning up the old bugged textures)
  • Fixed party frame positioning. Tank/Healer configuration need some tweaking. I will include it in next release.

Vex is the only addon similar to what I use that I can customize and set a profile for. I actually use Comergy for my rogue.

You can catch the Comergy setting via screen shots in some earler posts if you want to see how I configured it. Also, make sure you download the user edited one that supports the Anticipation talent.

Is this because many of the addons are out of date? Or should I try a different version of your UI?

Thanks for the help!
I am not sure if you are the guy I helped from my stream, but if not, it means you did not install the folders correctly. Make side you are putting the WTF contents in the designated areas.

Something's not right

You can try but will most likely have to anchor the panels, FX and portraits yourself.

I will add your resolution to the list for the next version.

Anyways, in reference to the comment about which resolutions you'd like to see, 1680x1050 obviously needs to stay, I mean, seriously
Do not update to this version if you are not at 1920x1080 or 1920x1200.

I will be supporting the resolution you mentioned as well as listing all supported resolutions once I complete it for v2.2.
Good deal, I got impatient and ended up trying it only to find out like you said it was incompatible. Ended up swapping the kgpanels config from the 2.1b version over and that resolved it.

I've always been a UI addict and I've modified my UI more times than I can count, so I'm positive I did the folder installation correctly. I'm just not sure what I'm doing wrong that leaves me with this screen. I'm running a 1600x900 resolution. If you have any insight, please let me know, because I'm very anxious to use this awesome UI of yours. Thanks for your time!
This is a resolution issue. Try downloading and installing the newest version. "/reflux switch OPUI 2.1"
Downloading the newest version and using that reflux command has resulted in the same screen while running at my 1600x900 resolution. I'm not sure what could be the issue. =/
Use v2.1b, not v2.1c. If you still have an issue, take a screen shot of where everything is so I can see the problem.

When you enter the reflux command for your resolution, try /reflux switch OPUI1050

Remember to type /fx after that and select the OPUI1050 tab or unlock the cooldown timer with the small lock at the corner of its section and anchor it yourself.

Don't worry, soon all resolutions will be supported.
I tried that and still had the same issues. Luckily, the only issues were some kgpanels being out of place and my player portraits being at the bottom of the screen rather than right under the unitframes. I went ahead and modified it myself and it seems to be fine now.
Awesome, glad to see you figured it out. Post a pic of your layout. I like to see what people do with the interface!
