Quse UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: v4.3d
by: Qupe [More]

Quse Stream

This UI is meant to be as minimal, low memory and CPU usage as possible while maintaining a full compliment of features.
Supports all resolutions, aspect ratios and almost all languages/client localizations.

Having some knowledge of .lua - or the willingness to mess around with it - is recommended, most addons are configured in .lua.

sFilter is back!
I have included it with some basic spells for some classes but is mostly barebone.
Please open the SETTINGS.LUA file to add your own spells, all classes have template locations that fit the UI.
HOW TO:
* See Change Log for a full list of changes (please read it!) *
Fresh installations are always recommended!

Installation is a breeze; no WTF folders to rename, no hoops to jump through, no bears to wrastle.

- Back-up your Interface and Fonts folder (if you have a Fonts folder. If you don't have one, don't worry).
- Copy the contents of the QuseUI zip file into your World of Warcraft folder and launch your game client.
- Ensure out of date addons are enabled.
- Once in game, type "/install" and accept.
- Bananas!

Features
*Low memory and CPU *
*Easy Installation*
*Complete "out-of-the-box" support for all classes/specs*
*Healer and DPS raid frame layouts*
(see screenshots)

Raid Frame Indicators

*Note*
Earth Shield, PoM, and Lifebloom
indicators change color based on stack count.

FOR FONT REPLACEMENT:
Font = Pixel Font, 8pt
Font2 = Tooltip Font
FCT = Floating Combat Text

To replace fonts in-game:
- Place your desired font into the "Interface\addons\sharedmedia\fonts" folder and rename to the font you'd like to change.

To replace fonts that appear on the loading screen, chat window, etc...
- Copy your desired font into the "Fonts" folder in your Warcraft folder and rename to the appropriate names present in that folder (skurri, ARIALN__, etc...)

FOR BOSS MOD STYLING:
- Download the file located HERE
Follow the instructions on the download page.

Recommended:
- oUF_MovableFrames, by Haste. If lua editing isn't for you and default frame locations aren't your cup of tea, oUF_MovableFrames will allow you to drag and drop locations.
- Clean Icons - Thin, by Suicidalkatt
Vital if you'd like to keep the sleek square outline look for non-skinned icons. Not included in this download due to its size; some people may or may not care to include it.

TO DO:

- Set up sFilter for new abilities and adjust location (currently not included in package).
- Finish adjusting raid indicator texts and boss debuffs.
------------

- Entire UI moved inward by 4 pixels.
- Shapeshift bar moved above player frame.

Are you using UI scale of any kind?
I use the UIScaler addon that Haleth made in all my UI's. Everything is scaled correctly.

Nameplates

Hi Qupe.

With the upcoming release of Mist of Pandaria, I decided to go back to your awesome UI pack, and so far it's been nothing but joy, with the exception of when I entered a BG..

I noticed that enemy player's nameplates, aren't class coloured, but all are simply a generic neon green colour, which is absolutely devastating when you're zoomed out far from your chracter, and you try and get an overview of the battlefield, maybe even trying to decide who is the hybrid, who should be CC'ed, and so on. I tried to poke around a bit in the settings menu, but without any luck. I've added a screenshot, to try and explain exactly what I mean.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/xs687crq2k...112_115903.jpg

So basically, I just wish for enemy classes to have their actual class colour and nothing else.

Thank you in advance.

- Edit -

Upon further investigation I have come to the conclusion, that the neon green colour only appears in combat, which leads me to the conclusion that it has something to do with your "aggro" feature, but considering this is PvP, and you can't have aggro on players, I am still hoping there is an easy fix.

Nope, it's turned off. My screen res is 1600x1200 if that makes any difference.

1) Open the "config.lua" file in the nibWatchFrameAdv folder and change the position settings to whatever you'd like (right at the top of the file).

2) Open the "config.lua" file in the rActionButtonStyler folder and change:
Lua Code:
  1. cfg.hotkeys = {
  2.     show            = false,
to true.

They are only supposed to show on the player frame, not sure what you mean.

For positions, the easiest way to get them where they are in that picture would be to download oUF_Moveable Frames (download link on main UI page or just search it). As for the look, that would require a lot of work =/

It should work just fine, no picture, though!

No idea why, unless you changed the font or are using some sort of UI scaling they're the right size in the lua.

I'll try to figure out why the profession bags look the way they do as well as look into the nameplate coloring (guessing it's in pvp that they're not class colored?). Will have to wait until this weekend, though; between Borderlands2 and being busy at work I have basically no time during the weekdays.

As for many of the other requests, I'm not sure how to do many of them/would use the changes/have time to figure them out. Sorry =/

I can try to figure out what that square business is, but I really don't have any idea why it would look like that.
Not using anything else, the squares persisted even after deleting the WTF folder and loading only lumBags. Tried using other profession bags as well and they all had the same problem. Not really a big issue, for what it's worth it helps identify the profession bags at least.

About the bag bar, not anything I really care about, I just noticed the small imperfection when replacing some of my bags.

Edit: Forgot to clarify that the squares are not just a bank issue, they appear if I use professions bags in my normal inventory as well.

The nameplates have built in threat-indication. If you're a dps you will have nameplates that go from Green > Red (green = no aggro, red = aggro), if you're a tank they'll go from Red > Green (red = no threat, green= threat, I think!).

Not sure what you mean apart from that.
Nevermind, I thought you were still using m_nameplates! But it's cool now (: Thanks anyways.
