Enhanced Blizzard UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.0e
by: ikomiko [More]

First off all.
This UI contains many different Scripts that i picked up from AJ and other , this are not my Scripts.
I'm not a real coder, i have just some experience and iam still working on my skills.
That means this ui can "have" many bugs. Please don't be annoyed.
My Goal is to create a UI that is leightwight and run smooth and give you a real blizzard touch, just with more information.

Newest version 1.0e:
11.01.2012
Changelog:

  • - Fixed Anchor Problems with Hp/Mana value
    - Added Classcolor to arenaframes
    - Added new whoa unitframes function like Biggerbuffs (resize in config.lua)
    - improved ui perfomance and also fixed some errors
    - removed buffreminder because of permission

My UI produces now nearly 0 CPU impact, it runs smooth and error free. Watch the screen

Important: Need Feedback: Never tested it in Arena. How does it work in raids? laggy?

About smoothness:This ui produce very low CPU Cycles that means my UI runs smooth like Blizzard default UI. Addons like Omnicc produce much more CPU cycles then my whole ui
iam still working on effectivity.

This ui uontains:
  • Autoloot - on while solo, off while in raid
  • Camera -max scroll out
  • Chat - clean chat
  • Chattabs - clean tabs
  • Classicons - on untis not self
  • Copychat - rightclick on the chattap by evl
  • Minimap - hide crap
  • ikoSetting - stuff like hiding hotkeys/stancebar/auto sell&repair/hiding clock/improved Castbar
  • SpellID - Spellids on tooltip by zork
  • Unitframes - Using Whoa Template and other code from Thekunitframes - the rest is original Blizzard code
  • sfilter - minimalistic macro compatible addon - i use it for dark tranformation
  • blizzaura - using original blizzaura with script please read the blizzaura.txt
  • Bars - bartender/dominos like
  • Arena - Improved Arena frames with trinket timer
  • Bars - TidyBars edited by me, produce 0 CPU cycles and looks fantastic with squid skin.
  • Nameplates - Zork's rNameplates Diablo style. Just change the style of Blizzards'.
  • Runemod - Only for Dk's. It makes the default runebar much more functional, you can edit position, alpha and more.
  • Necrotic strike tracker Shows on targethealthbar Necrotic Strike stacks. awesome.

Tips:
  • First: the tooltip show you now spellid's, so you dont need to search on google for spellids
  • To see Arena Frames use command: /baf
  • In every .lua u can set different settings you need litte .lua unterstanding
  • In Config.lua you can set font, fontsize, unitframesize and more.
  • In settings.lua contains the most settings you can set, like debuffposition, castbar and so on.
  • in sfiltersettings.lua you have templates for every class(all importans spells for every class are in) in just remove "--"
  • in Aframe.lua u can set the arenaframes position and size

I never use them, I am used to ElvUi raid frames and they're similar to grid.

The blizzard standard frames are just big, bulky, and ugly, and they show literal icons instead of "squares" on the frames, and it's hard to differentiate the kind of buffs/debuffs.

if you want i can put health value into partyframes, too.
Thank you very much. I will work with this and see how it goes.

nice take on a near stock ui =)

but, got some strange looking things on my low lvl toon:

lower right, next to the action bar.
looks like those separators inside experience/reputation bar

edit: took a look at TidyBar
adding the following removes the unneeded dividers:
lua Code:
  1. for i=11,19 do _G["MainMenuXPBarDiv"..i]:SetTexture(Empty_Art)

(added it at line 255)
