Tired of the amount of messages related to looting items, reputation, experience, money, and so forth? If that is the case then this is the addon for you! MiniLoot is designed to summarize these type of messages in concise one-liners.

Archaeology falls under currency, I'd recommend perhaps trying out the tooltip feature to help recognize those easier. The reason I kept the currencies as icons is that we learn what is what eventually, but what I do have to add is the ability to click and re-link currencies (they added this in later patch but I haven't kept up and also added it on MiniLoot, yet).

Just to share with you on a off-topic, for those that read this; I managed to get an item today without it adding my name in front so it had no "receiver" in the chat, it was odd, and I never managed to re-produce this. Anyone else had this happen before? Weird...

What about Archaeology Fragments why do they have no link? So i can't find out if it was a Dwarf or a Fossil Fragment alternatively Fragments shoud be displayed in text insteat of icons.

Lol yep you were right this must have been an addon that shows this - not supportet by blizzard - anyway a good future if you trade tips for enchanting

Did trading gold ever show what you got? I can't remember lol...

I actually fixed this as I noticed it while adding and fixing on some other things, the problem was that the "_SELF" version of the strings I match came on the bottom, and above I had the one without "_SELF" implying that "You" was a player in all cases, so I simply put the "_SELF" parts over their non-"_SELF" versions to fix this.

In a nut shell; I think I fixed this and some other bugs reported so 1.5r is now pending approval.

Ok here is the next problem

If you craft items it says just:
Ihr: [icon]
Ihr: [icon]
Ihr: [icon]

"Ihr" is like "You" and looks wrong without an other word... better woud be just the char name as it's for other loot things or "Ihr stellt her: [Icon]" = "You craft: [icon]".
Is it realy saying just "you" in english or is this a translation problem too?

I have not integrated the class coloring, yet. Can make it an extra option, neat idea, not too hard to add! -added already, option will be under extras. Will not color names of those that take loot but leave the group prematurely, may change this behavior in future, not sure if it's necessary, kind of useful to know who left.

I will look at the Need/Greed/Pass/Disenchant, I think I may have forgotten to translate them, but I thought I had done that already, I will take a look. -fixed, was one part of the addon I replaced so it uses the client names, Blizzard's text for "Need", "Greed" and such.

Also, I will go over my strings in the addon and try make it easier to translate, somehow... I was thinking making a simple interface on my website so anyone can submit language patches and such, also would automate a lot of things, like not having to look in the code and find things to translate. Would make the lives of those that translate much simpler! [1]

Thanks for sticking out with me, I can be slow but I want to provide a solid addon, I think it has potential.

Good start for anyone that wish to translate but not sure where to find all the strings in the lua code, I know, it's a bit messy.

Patch 1.5q is up, hopefully there won't be any more bugs left, not counting any translation errors that may have occurred -I will look at those for the release of 1.6 -yup, will look at the German part of the code.

ok counting wirks fine now!
For some reason the translation of Need, Greed and maybe some others dosen't work - it works for "roll" (says "wurf" in german) but also shows:

Thank you for the translation, Tonyleila! And yes, it was some old text I had forgotten to remove, it was before there was any translations added.

Good news is tomorrow (14.09.) I can look at the German game and fix the addon.

As I figured, the problem was the matching of strings did not happen in the right order, it has never, but this time I had to fix it.

I believe this will fix other locale too, not only German, I wouldn't be surprised if French, Spanish, e.g. too was bugged like this. In any case, uploaded 1.5p so tell me if it works for you too!

The problem was this (for those interested at all):
LOOT_ITEM_SELF was read and accepted, before LOOT_ITEM_SELF_MULTIPLE, meaning that when the addon read {player, item, count} it stored it as {player, "[Silk cloth]x2", 1} and later the x2 got ignored, while it should have been stored as {player, "[Silk cloth]", 2} -like it does now, I double checked.

i translated most of the German phrases... tested ingame works fine.
Please remove your "use this if you want to translate" part because its without all the "L" and with "," in the end - also it has some dubble phrases and some missing phrases...
