Cyui v4  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 4.6
by: kryo85 [More]

Cyuiv4.6

New version available, compatible with patch 5.0.4!

Starting from version 4.3, addon specific skins will not be defaulted with the ui. You can look here for a addon that will skin all the major addons available: Tukui & ElvUI Extra Skins
Maintained by Azilroka, Repooc and Darth Predator, members of the Tukui community. Also, requests to skin any addons can be made in this thread.

Cyui is a module for Tukui. It uses the Tukui engine to run, and re-skin Blizzards' default interface.
Cyui was designed for 1680*1050 and above resolutions, and requires a bigger than 1280*900 resolution to run smoothly. Lower resolutions may run, but are not supported.

INSTALLATION

  1. BACKUP your Interface and WTF folders
  2. Download and extract Tukui to WoW/Interface/AddOns
  3. Download and extract CyUI to Wow/Interface/AddOns
  4. Restart the client, make sure both Tukui and CyUI are enabled on the addon management page
  5. Log your character, and follow the onscreen tutorial
If you're upgrading from v1 to v2, please perform a CLEAN INSTALL, remove or backup your WTF folder as well as the v1 CyUI folders.
If you're upgrading from either v1, v2 or v3 to v4 it's not necessary a clean install, but it is recomended that you perform a /resetui after logging in for the first time.

It seems you're trying to use the default Tukui layouts.

Also, i have no subscription at the moment, so development is stopped. As far as i know, everything works fine (except for low res version, sorry guys :/ ), and it should update nicelly with the next Tukui engine on MoP.

If in the meantime, anyone wants to keep updating/developing the addon, just drop a pm here or on Tukui forums!

I'll be checking from time to time.

Switching from DPS/Tank layout to Heal layout

I have a consistent issue where i can not switch from DPS/Tank layout to the Heal layout. Originally the issue seemed to be due to the CyUi raid addon being out of date but i have since made sure to load out of date add ons.

When i attempt to switch to the heal layout i get the following error message:

"Default Tukui raid frames are enabled, do you want to disable them?"

The only way i have found to recover from this is to disable all addons and then enable all addons which resets all characters and then i can choose heal layout on the initial configuration when my character loads in.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

And thank you for a fantastic addon.

Just the datapanels? It isn't too difficult, granted you know your way around a bit of code.

Check CyUI/modules/panels/panels.lua
Code:
-- middle panel
--if not T.lowversion then
	local im = CreateFrame("Frame", "TukuiInfoMiddle", TukuiBar1)
	im:CreatePanel("Default", 115, ps, "BOTTOM", UIParent, "BOTTOM", 0, 5)
	im:SetFrameLevel(2)
	im:SetFrameStrata("MEDIUM")
--end
This is the middle part, just parent it where you want it, and the rest will follow. Check this link for detailed info on parenting http://www.wowwiki.com/API_Region_SetPoint

Re: Re: Class Timers

Thanks for the reply, Kryo. I got everything working except for Overkill. I had been using Rogue Power Bars, but wanted to reduce my memory footprint by switching to the class timers you provide. If all I lose is Overkill, I'll deal with it as I can watch the buff frame to time a vanish > opener during long fights.

I appreciate the responses to my questions. Keep up the great work.

Regarding Overkill, i'm afraid it can't be tracked with classtimer, you'll have to use another way.

Also, when adding a spell to classtimer, you just need to find the spellID
Code:
http://www.wowhead.com/spell=58426
and add it to the file, like this
Code:
CreateSpellEntry(58426),
under the class, or in the trinket table, for general stuff.

Class Timers

Kryo -

I noticed that Overkill, Cheap Shot, Kidney Punch, Gouge and Vendetta don't seem to be showing up in the Class timers. When I looked at the filters.lua, they are in there, but nullified by the"--" so I removed the "--" and everything works....kind of.

Vendetta and Overkill still don't show up. Additionally, I was wondering if you could advise me on how to add Cloak of Shadows.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Edit - got Vendetta working, it just needed a capital "V" edited into the filters.lua, and I was able to add in Cloak of Shadows once I figured out how to find the spell id on wowhead. Only thing I can't get working is Overkill.

I've recently come back from a 2 month break, and have obviously needed to update my addons.

Prior to the break, I was using CyUI and I loved it. Now that I've tried to update it, I'm not able to use the CyUI config menu.

The UI looks like CyUI's, but I can access /tukui in game, not /config. Any help would be appreciated, as I love this UI and would like to be able to configure it properly.

Note: When logging in, I have Tukui, Tukui Config, and all the CyUI addons turned on. If I turn off Tukui Config, I've got no way of configuring anything.
