Both add-ons are AWESOME and give us plenty of options to modify the nameplates. I did not like the textures that came with them though
I modified the textures from Threat Plates slightly to my liking (which reminds me of the Caith Button Skins I use). Hopefully you like the textures as well
Note:
The two arrows in the screen shot are already included in Threat Plates so please navigate through the add-on under "Target Texure" in Nameplate Options. I have left those textures out of this file...
I have not tested with any other versions not listed, but they are just texture files
How to Install:
Just extract into your
"World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns" folder like any other add-on
It will replace the texture files in the Threat Plates Beta folder
Hm, never seen that before... Have you tried installing the versions I put on the front page?
Tidy Plates 5.15.1 by danltiger
and
Tidy Plates: Threat Plates Beta v4.1-b by suicidalkatt (edit: I put 4.1-a initially, I guess I meant 4.1-b)
I use those versions and it seems to work fine.
Might want to ask that question in the threat plates comments section if you still run into problems
I only uploaded tga (image) files, so I don't think it should affect the name text?
Edit: That UI looks nice btw If you downloaded a UI pack, it may have come with custom nameplates already... and tidyplates/threatplates might be displaying the name along with your UI addons?
So I'm wondering if you have two nameplate addons running...
awesome work, I've been looking for something like this for a long time.
I have one problem though and I'm not sure if you can help me with this. The names seem to appear twice when using thread plates as you can see in the screenshot below. I've been looking into it but can't find a fix for it. Would be great if you could help me.
