Version: 3.1.1

Simple Light Data Text Beta v3.1.1
--------------------------------------------------------

v3.1.1 Update: See Change Log for details.

Known Issues:
- When using vert/hor tweak in Move Mode, clicking on the frame makes the vertical tweak no longer work until a relog/reloadUI. Working on a fix...

SLDT (or Simple Light Data Text) is a text-based data tracking AddOn (see latest release rev at: SLDataText).

This is a Beta version of a major overhaul of the SLDT/SLDataText AddOn. This version marks a remarkable shift in design, minimizing memory usage, and using almost no mainstream libraries to create a simple yet functional AddOn.

This is a Beta AddOn, and as such, I expect there to be bugs!

Usage:
/sldt = Help
/sldt config = Configuration Mode
/sldt move = Movement Mode
/sldt font = List Font's via LibSharedMedia
/sldt font <font name> = Change Global Font
/sldt profile = Profile Options Help
/sldt enable/disable <tracker> = Enable/Disable

There is no GUI, everything is slash command and click based. SLDT uses a simplistic click-to-config system. While in configuration mode, hover the cursor over modules for tooltips with configuration options.

Please, if you are using this AddOn and want to report a bug/error/issue, please do so with as much information as possible. This will help me fix/modify the issue in as little time as possible.

This AddOn includes data trackers for Clock, Framerate, Latency, and Memory. Other data trackers will be released in time. SLDT is now an inclusive AddOn that does not allow modular plugins.

You 've said that you're planning on releasing this in place of the old version SLDatatext, but from what I can see, there are module(s) missing still?

I, for one, use the currency tracker part of SLDT so I dont have to use a seperate addon. Can this be implemented before release? I would love to make the change over, but don't feel comfortable having to then hunt round for seperate broker plugins

Thanks!
There is a money tracker in this version. Can you clarify the request? Are there features on the money tracker that aren't present in the current Beta version that you would like to see?

I'm aware of an error with class coloring and the friends tooltip for death knights, it throws an error and the tooltip doesn't show...will upload the fix for it today.

v3.0.7 adds Friend to the Social Tooltip, Class Coloring, and a fix for realm time where when minutes were less than 10, it was reporting a single digit instead of two (ie. 4:7pm instead of 4:07pm).

Still working on anchoring, and still working on a fix for the vertical tweak after drag moving. Unless there are any major bugs, the next update will be the final before going to full release and replacing the current SLDataText.

Yes, this is actually by design right now, as I haven't decided exactly how I want to handle the generation of the friend list. The next release should have that ironed out.

Speed, as in attack speed? Or speed, as in movement/travel speed?

v3.0.6 doesn't provide any magical new features, more cleaning up things, streamlining a few features and I added logic to Tooltip placement so that they will never overlap the tracker frame.

Still on my to-do list is frame parent anchoring, adding additional placement features (FrameStrata) and figuring out why you can't tweak vertical position after a drag move (I'm so stumped on that one...)

Also, is class coloring something that people want as a global toggle option?

1st: Is the Friends/Guild modules going to be separated and have tooltip that allows you to <click> to invite or <Alt-click> to invite.

2nd: The ability to move the tooltips. I have mine positioned at the top of the screen and its very difficult to put the beta up there as the tooltips cover the module when i get up to the top of the screen.

Awesome addon and glad to see it becoming more lightweight.
1st: For now, this ability won't exist. However, after I've finalized the initial AddOn, the "social" portion of the trackers is going to branch off into it's own AddOn that will work with SLDT and have a lot more features, including interactive tooltips. For now, it will primarily just provide a tooltip list of users online for both Friends & Guild.

2nd: I've already added logic to the tooltip anchoring for the next update. It won't be able to be manually set, but if the tracker is, for instance, located at the top right of the screen, the tooltip will automatically anchor to the bottom left of the tracker frame so it doesn't interfere with the tracker view.

It is really strange because I had the same problem with the old SLDT only that was more severe as it locked my client up just running around.
Can you try shutting Combat Fading off on every module and let me know if this makes a difference?
