Intro
rBuffFrameStyler helps you styling the player aura icons. By nature it gives the aura icons a backdrop and a border texture. You can change the whole appearance via config settings. You can even replace the border textures and use your own creations.
Features
  • separate config for buffs and debuffs
  • consolidate buff icon part of the buff frame
  • consolidate buff icon looks the same as any other buff icon
  • consolidate buff icon will recognize the interface setting
  • weapon enchant icons are part of the buff frame aswell
  • buff and debuffs can be combined to one frame or set apart
  • buff and debuff frame are movable ingame
  • possible frame settings: position, rowSpacing, colSpacing, buttonsPerRow
  • possible icon settings: background, border, font, color, size
Install
The zip-file contains two folders: rLib and rBuffFrameStyler. Put them in your AddOns folder.

Currently I really don't understand what you are trying to achieve. By default rBuffFrameStyler will display buffs and debuffs like the standard display. The only difference is that debuffs are bigger.

If size is your problem you can resize the debuff size in the config.lua. To do that scroll down to line 75 and change the value of size to the size of the buff icons which is 28.

So find this
Lua Code:
  1. button = {
  2.       size              = 40,
  3.     },

and make it
Lua Code:
  1. button = {
  2.       size              = 28,
  3.     },

Once you edited the file save it and type in /reload in the game.

das wurde wohl irgendwann mal durch ein anderes addon umgeschrieben.

  1. Make sure you are running WoW patch 5.2.
  2. Make sure you have the latest version of this addon.
  3. Disable all addons except rBuffFrameStyler. Test only rBuffFrameStyler. Check your auras. If you got durations the problem is somewhere else.
  4. If you are playing WoW in an asian language make sure to use fonts that support your language.
  5. Post a screenshot

Remove the "THINOUTLINE" on the fontStrings.

Hey! Thanks very much it worked perfectly!

I think i figured it out a year ago or so but can't remember:

How do i change the shadow of the stackcount, duration etc.?

I want it to look like on the buttom right here with a very simplistic but clean shadow:

rBuffFrameStyler uses the same overlay (border) texture as rActionButtonStyler. Thus you can use some of the rActionButtonStyler skin textures. Just make sure that if you put in a texture named "gloss" you check the config that the border texture is actually referencing a texture named "gloss".

If you add a pixel perfect border texture and make sure every size/setpoint uses flat pixel values you can do it.

Hi zork,

is there any site for rBuffFrameStyler-Skins? Haven't found any on wowinterface yet. I am particularly interested in a simply 1px border. Do rActionButtonStyler-Skins work here as well or how do i have to adjust them?

Re: OmniCC doesn't work in rbfs?

OmniCC works on the CooldownTimer frame. The default aura icons don't have such a cooldown frame and as such no OmniCC timer.
