Intro

rBuffFrame is a framework for Blizzard player aura buttons. It does nothing on its own, needs a layout like rBuffFrame_Zork.

Lil' help?

Howdy!

I've been using this addon for a long while now and I love it! However as of late my buffs aren't appearing where they should be. I think it has something to do with me installing Titan Panel because it worked perfectly fine before but not after the installation.

The site's not letting me upload a screenshot so I'll describe it the best I can. Basically I had the buffs displayed in the default position, but since putting Titan Panel in the buffs are appearing either in the centre of the screen's top half or not showing at all (I suspect they are showing but out of the screen somewhere). I have the top bar of Titan Panel NOT displayed (it's all on the bottom bar) so I'm really having trouble understanding why it's messing my buffs up.

Hopefully this is just an issue with Titan Panel but I'm posting here in hopes there's some help you can give before I uninstall Titan Panel.

Thanks in advance!

(Edit: Moving the buffs from their default position doesn't make any difference, the buffs still appear way away from where they should be).

One thing I miss from Phanx and SBF is the ability to see who put what buff on you. Is it at all possible to add this in?

There seems to be a taint issue with this and arena enemy unit frames. My taintlog is full of these logs.

Code:
5/10 21:09:53.816 An action was blocked in combat because of taint from rBuffFrameStyler - ArenaEnemyFrames:ClearAllPoints()
5/10 21:09:53.816      Interface\FrameXML\UIParent.lua:1877 <unnamed>:UIParentManageFramePositions()
5/10 21:09:53.816      Interface\FrameXML\UIParent.lua:1234
5/10 21:09:53.816      <unnamed>:SetAttribute()
5/10 21:09:53.816      Interface\FrameXML\UIParent.lua:1906 UIParent_ManageFramePositions()
5/10 21:09:53.816      Interface\FrameXML\BuffFrame.lua:348
5/10 21:09:53.816      BuffFrame_UpdateAllBuffAnchors()

Other than that great addon

I have a problem with this addon. When I replace the texture for buffs, the debuff in game does not show the red border. I'm trying to use the same texture in from my rActionbutton styler. Any help?

Look out for ... in func/functions.lua.
Code:
  --check duration
  local function durationSetText(duration, arg1, arg2)
    duration:SetText(format(string.gsub(arg1, " ", ""), arg2))
  end
Content of SetText() can be edited.

wtb

how do i edit the dura formate like this?
Code:
Format = '|cffff0000%d|r'
Seconds = '|cffffffff%d|r'
Minutes = '|cffffffff%d|cffCC3333m|r'
Hours = '|cffffffff%d|cffCC3333h|r'
Days = '|cffffffff%d|cffCC3333d|r'
aka text white, min/sek/hours in red

awesome addon. i have only 1 issue, i changed the way buff/debuff are displayed, growing from left to right.

Now debuff icons are larger than standard, like 1.5 times wider than regular square.

is it a feature and can be changed or it's something i've done wrong? don't have the code here unfortunately.

No that cannot be done. But SatrinaBuffframe or sth alike can do it.

I have a problem with the buff display vanishing. Seems like it wanders to the right with each update until it leaves the screen.

I am not very versed in Lua. I am using SexyMap and was thinking that this may be a problem, since the buff frame is anchored to the minimap. So I tried changing that to UIParent in config.lua. This made the buffs appear in the upper left corner, but they still moved to the right with each update until they left the screen.

No errors, btw. It just jumps each time a buff duration changes or a new buff is applied.
