About
oUF_BrethrenRF is a layout for oUF 1.5.x by haste.

This layout was created for my personal needs. It is a recreation of the default style in my RDX package that I maintained awhile back. This layout only includes raid/party frames (pets and MTs included). If you need player / target frames feel free to combine this with another layout. Type /brf to move the frames. (now includes boss encounter bar. ie. Sound bar)

Features
  • Customizable buff monitoring areas and bars
  • Boss ability highlights for Cataclysm bosses
  • Texture colors are editable with three level color gradients
  • Heal prediction (thanks blizz for not making this a pain anymore)
  • All sizes and scales are easily editable
  • All frames are movable, including blizzard's special boss ability bar (ie. sound bar)
  • In-game customization

  • oUF_Smooth (included)
  • oUF_MoveableFrames (included)
  • oUF_SpellRange (included)

Customization
type /brf config for ingame options. For the advanced aurabar settings check auraBarSettings.lua

There are 5 areas which can represent buff / debuff information on the frame, here is a list of them:
  • Base border color when buff / debuff is present
  • A border bar that can be used to track the time left in a buff / debuff (I use it for weakend soul)
  • Two bars on top of the health bar (top and bottom) that will track buffs or debuffs. The bottom bar is reserved for buffs cast by you.
  • A numerical indicator that can show group number / buff occurances (numbers of a hot from different players) / buff stacks (from yourself)

Each buff / debuff has its own customizeable color, alpha, and priority. Highest priority in each configuration area wins.

I currently do not play wow anymore. There might be issues that have come up with the v4 to v5 patch, I have no idea. If I ever come back to the game I will update the addon but at the moment it looks unlikely. Sorry.

I'd love to "oUF - BrethrenRaidFrames" use. Unfortunately, there is still a problem!
If I am invited to a group / raid it starts lagging. If I uninstall the add back again everything works great.
To this end, I must mention that I still "oUF - Freeb" use for the Player / Target, etc. ad.

top right is prayer of mending. To disable the bottom timer bars open auraBarSettings.lua scroll down to "bottomBar = {" and comment out all of the lines that belong to your class.

What are those top right indicators for please? Also, can I disable bottom timer bars? I don't know why, but some power bars have different height than others.

Open defaults.lua and edit the ns.textures section.

for instance if you had a file named myTexture.tga you would add this under last entry.

alternatively this mod supports libsharedmedia and you can add your textures that way as well.

This worked (the colors were how I wanted them) but everytime a group or raid added or dropped members that error would appear. Any tips on how to have name and hp class colored at the same time without breaking the mod like I did?
Ahhh that would explain it. This code only effects the color of the name. But it is checking for the option, you just need to get rid of the option check.

change it to this:

assuming you are trying to get it so that both the bar and the name are the same color that change will do the trick if the use classcolor option is checked.

I was causing this error, I guess. I was trying to have both the name and hp class colored so I changed:

Hrmm it could be a conflict with another mod. Can you post your addons?

also, in oUF_BrethrenRF.lua on line 27 make a new line and put this in:

if not r then r,g,b = 0,0,0 end
That should prevent that function from throwing the error but you text color will be messedup (black) due to the settings being messed up.

Fixed it, thanks! Any chance or plans to hide the HP text when the unit is full hp (hiding the -0)?

Edit: Bleh, worked until I zoned into a dungeon. Getting the same error again.

is there a way to fix it so the name and health number don't overlap maybe move the name up a little?
