Blizzard has stated intent to add character ordering in patch 4.2 so development has been discontinued

All modifications are done through the interface folder and require no patching of game clients or breaking of ToS

[color="LightGreen"]Current Changes
- Retextured borders for checkbox, character select, and all types of login frames (Account,Password,Authenticator)
- Retextured borders for character select screen and selection boxes
- Retextured loginscreen buttons, Currently these are the buttons from vanilla alpha (Yah wow...)

Coming Soon (Red) = Next Release (Lime) = Soon, working out kinks (Cyan) = Looking into this
- Next few releases retexturing character create screen
- Options to switch between vanilla,bc,wotlk, and cataclysm login screens complete with music
- Sortable Character select screen (Looking into this)
Edit: I seem to have found a way to do it but it will take some time...

Please DO NOT use any of the custom .blp files located in this mod without asking for
permission first or giving credit since they are all original files, thank you.

Install Instructions
1.) Extract all files
2.) Drag the files in Interface into your Interface folder NOT YOUR ADDONS FOLDER
Example...
C:/Program Files/World Of Warcraft/Interface/Common/...
C:/Program FIles/World Of Warcraft/Interface/Glues/...

Are the two files you should have after you extract if they are in the correct place.

~v3.0 First sortable character select screen

v1.3.1 Removed uneeded changes now that cata screen is live to cut down on file size.

v1.3 Started retexturing of Character Create Screen, changed editbox/main frame border and background

v1.2 Updated WotLK logo to Cataclysm logo

v1.1 Retexturized all login interface buttons (Currently using Vanilla Alpha textures)

v1.0 Retextured the checkmark box, and input fields on main login/character select screen.

Banana44 A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 1 Uploads: 0	I consider highly unnecessary to add the arrow up-/and down next to the character with this GUI, simply cause you can still move the toons positioning by click-and-drag feature. I wish that there was a "black login screen" just for quicker launching the game, however im thankful for this addition to my experience as WoW Login screen used to eat 95% GPU load on my AMD HD7950 which is like 25% more load than Crysis3 with high-all(except shadow and water being medium) on 16x antialiasis.

I hadn't even thought of that... I'll see what I can do. The way im implementing it right now is by some very lucky and trial of error overriding step by step. That way I don't violate any ToS

Hehe, I am sure once I post it a lot of people will be "dohing"

sorry been distracted with school tests this week so Haven't had a chance to do any major improvments

Hopefully i'll push a new release before halloween!

I found a way, although it will take significant work >.>

I'll be getting on it as fast as I can, although I'd like to wait for cata to come out or to get a beta key before I start work on it incase they change things...

Its possible, it just involves patching the game in a way other than an interface mod. Namely a .mpq which I am not sure WoW Interface allows

Edit: Actually there may be another less "sketchy" way to do this, I'm checking it out after class

People have been asking Blizz for the ability to do this for a long time. It's impossible until Blizz implements it.
