Hey all this is Towelliee on Stormrage

My UI is a mix of LUI http://www.wow-lui.com and other addons. But mainly credit goes out to Loui. I been using LUI since it came out and I have never looked back. As much as I tried to see if there was something better out there, there never was(list of addons in this pack at the bottom).

**The Towelliee's UI Toon setup tool is now a seperate download **
*If updating from 3.0.1 you can use the update option in the installer to get the new weakauras*

You can now post UI question's on Towelliee's UI Forum thread.

Installer/Game Instructions

Step 1 : MOVE the INTERFACE/FONTS folder out of the WoW folder. We need the WoW folder to not have the 2 folders inside.
Step 2 : Copy the Contents of the Zip file into the WoW folder (overwrite if asked).
Step 3 : Download the toon setup tool from HERE and put the exe file in your wow folder(where wow.exe is).
Step 4 : run Towelliee.exe (the Toon setup installer) from your wow folder, and select the appropriate install type, for initial install it is recommended to do a Clean Install (some installer info below).
Step 5 : Once you're in game just click that HAMMERS UP!!! button.

If you are having issues getting your toon setup run the toon installer as admin
(right click towelliee.exe -> run as administrator)
The ui install instruction video on youtube is obsolete, do not use it as instructions to install the current UI verions

Installer Info

you have 3 install types to choose from, press the ? button for details about them.

the installer will detect if it's in the correct location, if it's not you will get errors when trying to choose account

When in the correct location you will be able to choose the account/server/toon from a list of previously played characters on this wow installation
(if a toon is not listed, log on to it, then exit the game)

It 1st switches to the LUI-Towelliee profile then snapshots it to a new profile and loads that profile
it will use the standard Name - Server profile naming.
Made it to not force Towelliee's color theme by default, it will load you class color theme.

9/10/2012 - 2.0.4 - Update LUI to r520, updated several other addons to latest version.
All characters now use LUI-Towelliee profile and not a copy of it.
Removed Scale of Life Tracker and cError addons.
Due to blizzard code change, making _ a global variable, a lot of addons will cause the Glyph UI issue.
Fixed the code of PowerAuras and OptiTaunt to not use the Golbal _ Variabel

Thanks for your video and compilation, I love the look of everything! edit: I'm kind of baffled at the minimap questions, I had no trouble finding it, though I am not using Sexymap or any other map addon, that might be it, I dunno. To change this, press Esc to get the game menu open and click on video. From there you'll want to click on the Advanced tab on the left side. The UI scale slider will be at the bottom of the list. I hope this helps!

I use the map that comes with LUI now its in LUI > general > modules

There is a LUI.lua file in the saved variables folder for the character in the WTF folder. If you open it with wordpad you will see: LUICONFIG = { ["IsConfigured"] = true, Change true to false and save. Now when you log in it will give you the install button. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting things like you have it Towlliee. I am pretty much going to each addon and picking the Towlliee profile, correct? Is that the way to do it or am I missing another option to change them all at one time? Last edited by Steelle : 11-05-10 at 07:39 PM.

Been messing around with the settings and redownloading and reinstalling them for just over five hours and I haven't really made much progress. It seems when I follow the process that are listed, I don't get the 'install' option on the character that I type the name for in the WTF folder. If I log on any other character, the Install button will be there, with various other things. I know I did the steps correctly everytime. When I try to fix something using the LUI editor, it just won't... like.. aknowledge that I clicked on an option. For example, when I tried to manually load in another profile (Towelliee's, and various other ones, to see if they worked) It leaves the option blank. As though I never clicked anything. On the characters that I didn't specifically write their name in the file you said to, the characters that give me the install option, if I type /reflux switch towelliee, lua 1920, etc etc, it messes with the bartender and makes it poof away. Also, the sexymap addon, or any minimap for that matter won't show before I /reflux switch. When I do reflux switch though, I lose all the bartender options. Finally, I think it may just be me, but it seems like everything is scaled down for some reason. The UI, font, buttons, everything seems as though they drank the Alice in Wonderland potion.. Just thought you'd like an in-depth post, rather than the two sentences most of these posts have been..

yep did all that. I also put in my account name.

Did you make sure to back up your WTF and Interface folder so taht your current WoW folder has nothing in there?

And THEN put my files in and THEN change the account name to your actual account name and not email?
