bubuUI

1920x1200 and 1920x1080

I use a 24" monitor with a 1920x1200 resolution. For now, I have decided to also support a 1920x1080 resolution. Whether I'm going to continue supporting both depends on how time consuming it will be.

I got rid of all addons that are not visible in the UI, like my trade skill addons or Auctioneer, to simplify the installation and setup of the package.

Credits go to CaithUI on which layout my UI is based on and which got me started fiddling around two years ago, to all other addon authors and Dukee, whom I bombarded with screenshots.
Not to forget, big, big thanks to Mani!

Many thanks to Beliablue for providing a 1680x1050 Resolution pack. Please click here if you want to use her resolution. Brilliant work, Belia!

Note:

The icons you see on the party image are cooldowns I set up with Power Auras and are class specific icons I use on my Shadow Priest. That's why I have not included Power Auras in my UI pack. It's useless for any other class.

Installation Guide

1. Make a backup of your Interface, texture and WTF folders, as for your macros.
2. Download and unzip the UI package into a new folder.
3. Open the WTF of your UI package and change the folders ACCOUNTNAME (has to be in caps), your servername, your charactername
4. Select the WTF folder for your resolution and copy and overwrite the texture, fonts, WTF and Interface folders into your WoW copy. Re-name it to WTF, once you are done

************************************************************************

5. After starting WoW, make sure every addon is enabled
6. Set your resolution in Blizzard's video settings
7. For UIscaling type or paste in chat the following:
/console useUiScale 1
/console uiscale 0.75999999046326

************************************************************************

8. Type into your chat /reflux switch bubuUI OR type /reflux switch bubu1080UI if you are using the 1920x1080 resolution.

Yes, just go to bartender, disable the fade ability of the bars you want to add and position them. Adjust all other components, like Quartz, PitBull, etc, and you should be fine. You have to resize the panels as well, of course.

and a slightly slimmer version:

I know most healers like to have their healing frames in the middle whichever healing mod they are using but every healer prefers a different sizing.

As for the position of Healbot or any other healing unit frame, I suggest that you disable or reposition both Recount and Omen.
So far the only option for you to change the size for a 1920x1080 resolution is to re-size the addons manually. But I'm looking into it and will update it hopefully soon.

I love these, it is literally exactly what I am after. If you uploaded that layout as well you would be an absolute star!

Do you think you could make it a simple /DPS, /heals sort of UI. i have a warlock and a pally i play and that would be the bee's knee's for me :-)

Just updated for 4.0.1 and looks like quite a few things are broken. Any ETA on a update for the pack or perhaps a guide on how to fix it?

Hello there,

our servers here in the EU are still down. I will fix the broken addons, if they are available of course, as soon as our servers are up.

I know SBF has not been updated and seems to be broken. Try PhanxBuffs for now, as it's going to be the buff addon that I will setup once I have a chance. If you could give me a list of the addons broken, that would be great.

Regards,
bu

UPDATE

For SexyMap try this fix found here

Go to your interface folder and find the sexymap folder.
Inside that folder is a file called buttons.lua
If you want to easily fix this, go online find a text editor like Textpad that can show your the line numbers of the code, otherwise open this file in notepad.exe

You need to find the line that says:

return not ( battlefieldframe.numQueues == 0 and (not CanHearthAndResurrectFromArea()) )

Once you find that you need to change it to look like this:

return not ( PVPframe.numQueues == 0 and (not CanHearthAndResurrectFromArea()) )

Open the file called sexymap.toc in notepad or another text editor.
At the top it'll say something like Interface: 30300
Just change that number to 40000

Any other addon, once updated, works perfectly fine for me on the beta.

I seem to be having a problem with my Pitbull bars not displaying my health or mana. It is saying unknown tag in front of HP, Mana, and Name.

Any ideas as to what may be causing this?

Great UI btw!

I am on the beta as I'm typing this and it's working fine here.
Got to /pb -> Layout Editor -> Current layout: player -> texts
and then check if the following is in the name, health and power section

Name:
[Name:ClassColor " | " Level:Color("66CCCC")] [(AFK or DND):Angle]

AND

power:
[if HasMP then
MP:VeryShort:Color("33CCCC")
end]

AND

health:
[HP:VeryShort:Color("99CCCC")]

These should also be the same in the Target layout.

I am having problems moving the box on the recount frame, there is the main frame then a smaller square.

Am I missing something stupidly obvious? :P, I would really like to move that .

Healing UI

Hello there,

I will be working on a healing UI, but I'll be on vacation for 2-3 weeks from next Monday on, therefore I can only properly do it when I'm back.

The more feedback I get about the screenshots that I posted further below, the better. I rarely heal on my priest, but when I do, I use grid which I place somewhere over Recount and Omen. I'm just not really bothered.

Regards,
bu

Great UI, very nice layout! How is it working with 4.0.1? Couldn't see any updates on mainpage, so thought I would ask ;-)

Cheers

The screenshots look very good. However, the resolution doesn't suit me. I am 1680x1050 or so unfortunately.
