oUF Lumen

Before I used oUF and started writing my own layout and small addons, Pitbull, Grid and ClassTimer were a big part of the functionality of my UI. Since then I tried to cut down on the number of addons while trying to retain its functionality. oUF_lumen using the power of oUF tries to accomplish this by creating a customized set of unit frames tha replace Pitbull, Grid and ClassTimer while being light and functional.

Compact config: https://i.imgur.com/34Yilqx.jpg

If you're interested in my UI it's here.

This is a PERSONAL Layout. What this means is that most of the functionalities will be implemented because I need it. I can eventually add some features If I see the utility in them, but I will never change the layout radically or add unnecessary and complicated features just because. The beauty of oUF layouts is that there are plenty for all tastes and it is easy to customize if you want to dwellve into code!

- Features

  • Minimalist design
  • Standalone (oUF and several oUF plugins embedded - Experience, Reputation, Smooth...)
  • Layout works for all type of roles (damage, healing or tanking)
  • Feature complete (All frames supported, including Boss and Arena)
  • Complete support for class specific power (Combo Points, Chi, Holy Power, Insanity, etc...)
  • All frames supported, including Party, Raid (TBA), Boss and Arena frames
  • Movable frames using /lmf

- Feedback
  • If you have any question regarding the layout please leave a comment in the comment section of this addon.
  • For bug reports and feature request please use Github.

Target Right Click Error

I have just started using OUF, and moved away from ElvUi. I have a strange issue when I right click on a target other than myself. ie if i click my frame to make me the target and I right click no errors, but if I make another player or NPC the target and I right click I get this error in bug sack. So I dont know if I have done something wrong or what. Love these frames though.
Code:

Ok I have also tried oUF_Simple by Zork, and oUF_Karma and I have the same results when I right click any target other than myself.

Yes. I'm just waiting to "finish" the Frames. Just the raid frames missing. But you know with actually playing and all! ;P

I'll think about releasing my current version even if the Frames are not 100% finished.

Hi and thanks.

The Role Icons are there, but you just see them when you hover the party frame unit. Anyway Party frames are sorted by role, Tank First, Healer second and the rest of the DPS, so knowing this is the Icons really needed? But if you hover them you will see the roles.

Regarding the Raid Frames still in the works, for the meanwhile you'll just need to use Blizzard ones or an addon like Grid.

Regarding the Fadeout frames bug. There used to be an addon written for this effect, it isn't working anymore so I implemented this because of a request. I know it doesn't work very well, I will lookup into it. Problem is if you fade out the Player for instance any element that has the Player as parent will also fade, like the Castbar, which is a bit clunky but there isn't an easy way out of this.

Anyway it is in the backlog to be check, just low priority as there are more important things to take care off, for instance the raid frames.

Kudos.

(edit: "false" on the line 311 for experience bar does not turn off the "green" rep bar. Figured out the arcanebar was artifact bars and did turn that off. Where be the rep one?)

Additional questtions.

1) What rectangular minimap are you using?

2) Also are you using Quester or is that something else under the minimap? I like the colorized quest notes and the levels on it.

3) Buffs and Debuffs neatly next to the modified minimap. What did you use for that?

The reputation bar is only showing if you are tracking any rep. Anyway I will add an option to disable it.

1) My own, is part of my UI, LumMinimapa, I have an old version on the LumUI Compilation here on WoWUI but It is not up to date yet as I need to update the rest of the addons. But trying to actually play the game + work means it might take a bit.

2) That is Kaiel's Quest Tracker.

3) Again, my own addon, LumBuffs. That one you can find it functional on the LumUI compilation. Don't think I've updated anything so far for Legion.

Anyway all of those addons will be released. I'll try to work on it a bit during the weekend and release it the week after that.

PS - Just to keep it more reedable, don't quote everything from the parent replies as it will make the thread messy.

Hi Vranx. Nah it is not. Sometimes FStack can trick you.

That is the experience bar.
I use a Square Minimap, therefore it looks like this:

You can get rid of it in the config.lua:

Lua Code:
  1. experiencebar = {
  2.       show = true,
  3.       height = 3,
  4.       width = Minimap:GetWidth() + 4,
  5.       pos = { a1 = "TOPLEFT", a2 = "BOTTOMLEFT", af = "Minimap", x = -2, y = 14 },
  6.     },

Around Line 309. Just put show to false.

If you tweak the config.lua, save your config. I might add some more stuff but it won't change much from now on.
I will probably add a way in the future to save a private configuration in an override file.

-------

Just another thing, if you have any request or would like a feature to be added please use the issues tracker on github: https://github.com/greven/oUF_lumen/issues

For general help do post here, for bugs and features do use github, easier to keep track off. I would also like to say that I will never radically change the layout to add any feature request, but something easy to accomplish and if it makes sense in the spirit of the layout, sure feel free to request.

I guess I found the reason of the focus . I found that cfg.units.target.health.reactionColored =Ttrue, but I don't found the Ttrue in config.lua except cfg.units.player.power.frequentUpdates =Ttrue, and I change the Ttrue to true of the reactionColored, the focus is OK. I don't know how's the frequentUpdates working for, so can I change the other Ttrue to true? I really didn't found this variable.

I like your ouf_lumen. And I found that if I focus NPCs first, the healthbar of focus doesn't work. And I focus someone who are players first, then focus NPCs, the healthbar of focus work normally. Hmmm.., I forget whether the focus's healthbar's color is the same as the players' class or not when I focus a player. And can you tell me where the WorldMap code in your lumen, cause i want the WorldMap be translucent when i'm moving.

I'm sorry about that you may not read these words smoothly, i'm really not good at English, but i'm really like your ouf_lumen
