INTRODUCTION

Due to the overwhelming amount of people asking for it i decided to finally release caelUI to the public.

caelUI is a very light, all-inclusive UI at least for dps and tank classes.

It doesn't include addons like decursive and such but feel free to add them.

caelUI has absolutely no in game configuration, meaning that if you don't have a minimum of knowledge of Lua, this is not the UI you're looking for.

CaelUI has been written to work with the enGB/US locale, OTHER LOCALES AREN'T SUPPORTED.

I'm open to any suggestion that might improve it but i give no guarantee that anything you request will ever be included.

INSTALLATION

Delete your WTF folder. (make a backup of yours before deleting)
Remove any addons that might interfere with this UI. (examples: other actionbar addons, unitframes etc...)
Copy the content of this package to your AddOns folder.
Start the game, define your screen resolution, reloadui.

ADDONS LIST

KNOWN BUGS

caelCooldown pulse does not filter unneeded cooldowns or show the right cooldowns when skills with shared cooldown are used (heroic strike/cleave for example).

In the Notepad window, you can use the View->Status Bar menu option. In that status bar, it will show the current line you are on.

Using other editors will give you line numbers in a lefthand column, which makes it even easier, though. I'd recommend Notepad++ personally. It's lightweight yet has many advanced features, supports UTF8/Unicode characters, and has several available plugins. it even comes with Lua syntax highlighting built in. There are lots of other editors out there, but you'll be hard-pressed to find a better overall sourcecode editor.

I've moved to gVim myself. I enjoy the much more advanced capabilities of it. It's more of a development environment, once you've gotten it the way you like it. I wouldn't really recommend it to non-programmers, as it is a bit over the top, though.

Drag and drop in one of your bar and bind it, i don't personally use any stances bar.

or, edit caelActionBar, line 84 and 85, set the scale and alpha to 1, then move it wherever you want.

I believe what you are looking for is caelPanels\caelPanels.lua line 9. Get/Make your own texture and change the line to point to your custom texture. The glossy overlay is lines 50-69 in the same file.

Left click the clock data feeds (bottom right) opens the timer, right click opens the calendar. the clock turns green if there's a new event you haven't seen yet.

Are you running the 3.3.3 version of the game at least, because all those errors are related to frames / functions added in that last patch.

If you're playing on a private server or for some reason not playing the latest available patch, there is nothing i can do for you.

What version of WoW are you running? Are you sure it is the newest? Blizzard added quest item textures and the WORLDMAP_SETTINGS table recently, and older WoW clients will error since they do not exist in them. These errors are saying that they don't exist, so it makes me think that your client is perhaps not the newest one...

You want the GCD spirals to show? I'm pretty sure you can just comment out or remove lines 96-103 in caelCooldowns\caelCooldowns.lua to make them show.
