wowtradeshare.com is down for good. This addon is no longer usable.

Purpose

The TradeShare addon allows players to share tradeskills on http://www.wowtradeshare.com. Players may post for themselves, their guild (via the guild channel), or other players on their realm (via the trade channel). This is accomplished by having the addon collect tradelinks, having users copy the data in-game, and then having users post their data to http://www.wowtradeshare.com.

Submit data for yourself or others to our site anonymously
Search our site for rare recipes and keep track of who makes what in your guild
Search our site for yourself and click the professions button to get a detailed listing of the recipes you do and don't have
Register on our site for an account to add pricing/notes to your recipes and track your submitted professions

Usage

/tradeshare [ list | clear ]
default: Opens TradeShare bulk-post window and prints usage information
list: Lists all the tradelinks that have been collected since startup
clear: Clears the list of collected tradelinks

Bulk Posting

Type "/tradeshare" within World of Warcraft to bring up the TradeShare posting window
Wait for tradelinks to be posted on the guild or trade channel
Once you have collected all your data, press "CTRL-c" to copy the generated text
Open your web browser and navigate to wowtradeshare.com/share
Follow the instructions to post all the professions for your guild online
NOTE: If you logout and forget to post its okay, tradelinks that are collected will be cached for 72 hours

Individual Posting

To use TradeShare simply open the tradeskill window of the profession that you intend to share
Click the "share" button that appears in the upper left hand corner of the window
A window will appear giving you detailed instructions for how to post to our site
Copy the link using "CTRL-c"
Open your web browser and paste the link in your browser's address bar

Contiki A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 72 Uploads: 2	Hi there, like the idea of the site but so far it doesn't seem to support other languages than English; unless I totally didn't get how the add-on works ;-) I'm playing on a German client where tradeskills like leatherworking are, of course, called differently. In that case, "Lederverarbeitung", which the website doesn't seem to recognize. Even manually changing the tradeskill in the string generated by the add-on to "leatherworking" doesn't do the trick.
