Threat Plates (TP for short) is a addon for customizing your nameplates. It offers a high amount of customization and tweaks to how your nameplates react and look. It also offers some unique features that are not available with any other nameplate addon. I've spent a considerable amount of time improving this addon and any comments or concerns about this addon are appreciated. I'm always looking for ways to improve this addon.

Features:

SharedMedia support and many, many, options for name, health, level, and spell text. As well as all of the standard nameplate features such as castbar and icon, elite icons / textures, skull icons / textures, raid marks, and healthbar coloring/alpha/scale.
Ace3 profiling.
Low memory footprint.
Threat system management.
Automatic talent detection and role assigning for an easy out of the box setup.
Customizable widgets.
Customizable totem nameplates.
Customizable nameplates for extra customization for specifically named units.

Commands:

/tptp - Displays options.
/tptptoggle - Toggle Role from one to the other.
/tptpdps - Toggles DPS/Healing threat plates.
/tptptank - Toggles Tank threat plates.
/tptpol - Toggles nameplate overlapping.
/tptpverbose - Toggles addon feedback text.

Additional Information:

A considerable amount of information about options and its internal priorities are not gone into details. Most options that are enable or disable based will toggle off options that are no longer changeable once enabled or disabled. I think there is, but you have to play around with CVars. There's a section about that in the FAQ section of Threat Plates, see https://wow.curseforge.com/projects/...oting-and-faq: "I want my (target) nameplate to stick at the top (or bottom) of the screen and not to disapear outside of the screen, especially for huge bosses." - You basically want it the other way around, I think.

Yeah, that was not possible with Tidy Plates and - as long as Threat Plates was based on it, also not for Threat Plates. As Threat Plates no longer depens on Tidy Plates, I was able to change that in the current beta.

The current beta version has now fully resizeable healthbars and castbars (e.g., just increase the height, but not the width, also change the size without changing other elements like, e.g. texts).

The current beta version (which will hopefully released as 8.7.0 this weekend) is available on Curse: https://wow.curseforge.com/projects/...-threat-plates.

Nah, i got enough on plate working on DBM. I was just helping get boss mod integration into this version of threat plates.

As for other fork, it's not as well maintained and definitely doesn't support boss mod pass on, so I had to make sure at least on my end, that I only pass on to THIS version of threat plates, not the other one that doesn't support it.

just so I can change my check to TidyPlatesThreatOfficial instead of using TidyPlatesThreat which would pass callbacks to the poorly maintained other fork that wouldn't work.

I closed it as both addons now cannot be activated the same time anyway (that would result in two nameplates) since I integrated TidyPlates into ThreatPlates and made it standalone (TidyPlates is currently no longer maintained).
