ncUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 2.1a
by: nightcracker [More]

ncUI is an extreme light-weight user interface with a nice minimalistic look. This UI has less than 350 kB memory usage! I'm in love with this UI, and I hope you will fall in love with it too. Almost all config(which is currently nearly none) is found in the .lua files. Open them with Notepad and start editing! Warning: if you edit the wrong parts it will break the UI.

How to install:
Rename (if existent) your "Interface" and "Fonts" folders to "Interface_backup" and "Fonts_backup". Extract the Interface and Fonts folders to the folder which contains WoW.exe(default is "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\"). On first login you will be prompted to auto-install, click yes and ur done!

Usage:
Once installed, when you enter the game the UI will auto-configure. Then your ready to begin!
The navigation in ncUI is a little bit different than in the default UI. To bind use /hb and you can bind your actionbars, spells in the spellbook and macros.
Rightclick on the minimap is for tracking.
To get 25 extra actionbutton, open the default keybindings frame(Escape > Bindings), scroll all the way down and bind something to "Extra Buttons". If you now press and HOLD the keybinding, 25 extra buttons will become visible under your mouse.

Config is in the lua file "config.lua" found in the ncUI addon folder. The settings are well commented and easy to edit.

Upcoming features/todo list:
- Gametooltip quest info
- Clock and guild to ncDatatext
- My own unitframes
- Rewrite of CoolLine to ncCooldownline
- Totem bar
Suggest features! My todo list that constantly updates can be found here.

No, just disable all the extra actionbars except for the bottom left one. The option is in Interface Options > Actionbars iirc

Did you know you have hidden actionbuttons under your mouse? Open up the keybinding panel(ESCAPE > Key Bindings) and scroll all the way down. Now bind an easily accesable key to "Extra Buttons". Close the panel. Make sure you are dragging some spell so you can see the buttons and press the keybinding. *poof*, 25 extra actionbuttons under your mouse.

Good luck!
Yeah I did read about that, but I've used so many bar addons and had to switch between them so often that I never really want to use much more than the already given Blizzard bars so that I can change quickly between any of the mods or go back to normal Blizz UI without having to rearrange spells and such. In other words it'd just be nice to have it setup with all the normal bars.

I'm curious if there is a way to disable the use of your actionbars and maybe use an addon like Bartender with your panels? I originally wanted to try to see if I could find a way to change the actionbars so they would be to my liking but I know very little about lua coding so I gave up on that :P

Other than the actionbars though, which is just something I have to have from years now of having the same setup, this is addon is really awesome. Great work

EDIT: Well I figured out how to disable the actionbars you have setup, but that disables the pet bar and stance bar and all that as well. Which I would prefer to keep. I just want to change the main actionbars while keeping the rest of the bars intact.

This is a great addon and is almost exactly what I'm looking for. The only thing I really really wish I could have is more actionbars. I'm using a widescreen so I have the space to extend the actionbars all the way to full 12 slots for all four bars currently there (rather than just the two as the patch does). I would also really like to have an additional 2 vertical bars on the right side near the pet bar as I make use of these on multiple characters for housing all the abilities and items I use. Is it possible to do anything such as this? Other than not having the bars space I would like the addon is still excellent and I may look into finding some other way to create the bars I need in conjunction with this addon.

I moved it around already quite a few times .. last position is this one:

ChatFrame_AddMessageGroup(ChatFrame1, "SYSTEM");

ChatFrame_AddChannel(ChatFrame3, "Trade");
ChatFrame_RemoveChannel(ChatFrame1, "Trade");

ChatFrame1:ClearAllPoints();

ChatFrame1:SetPoint("TOPLEFT", CubeLeftBG, "TOPRIGHT", 8, 0);
ChatFrame1:SetPoint("BOTTOMRIGHT", InfoLeft, "TOPRIGHT", 0, 10);

SetCVar("chatLocked", 1);

You can bind a key for the exit and seat changing buttons on the vehicle bar in Blizzard's Key Bindings menu. No need to actually see the buttons then. (I have them bound to PgUp(up a seat), PgDn(down a seat) and End(exit) for example)

Is there a way to add a decimal to the cast timer? and can i make it static instead of counting down during the cast? been looking around in the unitframe.lua, but not quite there yet.
