lcLoot  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.3.0 alpha 13
by: RustamIrzaev [More]

Please NOTE! Addon for 3.3 patch is available, but it still in aplha. Use at own risk...

Description
lcLoot is a small replacement for the default loot frame (including a grouploot and a masterloot support). It has a "pleasant view".
A distinctive feature of other similar loot-addons is a portrait of looting mob.

Moving the window
You can move the frame by holding down <Alt> and clicking on the title (works only for the main loot window not for a grouloot).

Settings (via ingame config)
type '/lcloot' to show config window
- you can show/hide the portrait window
- you can turn on/off playing sounds while looting
- new you can scale the loot frame
- you can scale the target model
- new grouploot module
- new you can setup position of grouploot window
- new you can scale grouploot frame
- new added simple announce function (to say/party/guild/raid channels)

NOTE!
Many people ask me howto setup addon after 1.2.2 version (where ingame config was delete). From this time you have easy way to config - ingame setup.
You must to do some things:
1) totally uninstall previous version of the addon
2) install this new version
3) ENABLE (for first time) lcLoot and lcLoot_Config
4) ingame: type '/lcloot' and do setting that you need
5) in setup frame click on 'Disable lcLoot_Config'
6) Done

From this point you need only 'lcLoot' module for working.

Please leave a comment here to report a bug. Thanks
Note! Atm i'm working at a new version of lcLoot addon (more powerfully, more simply and more likely).

I can't seem to find an anchor however.

Thank you.
There is no real anchor. Just hold down ALT, then click and drag the loot frame to where you want it. Release the mouse, then release ALT, to set the loot frame to it's new location.

I'll probably dive into the code and manually change it's position if it doesn't have an ingame option for that.

Thank you.

You can fix the group issue by opening lcloot_group.lua and at line 21 changing LOOT_ROLL_DIS to LOOT_ROLL_DISENCHANT.

By the way, in 3.3, the reason the loot window jumps to cursor is because "Open Loot at Cursor" option in the main WoW options is enabled by default for everybody, regardless of prior setting. You have to go back in and turn it off to restore the normal loot window to the place you had it set.

Thanks for your work on adding 3.3 features. I'm going to try the Alpha today.

In the future, the option to change the Font in the windows would be nice. I use the SharedMedia library for custom fonts and such so any integration there would be doubly great.

great work on this one...been using xloot and xlootgroup forever, then went to butsu and teksloot looking for sumthing a lil more light-weight. Found the later a lil lackig on options and such, then stumbled upon this! Really liking where its going so far, couple of feature reqquests though: I agree with vpr :

"When a mob has 'no loot' would it be possible to make the window close on it's own instead of staying open until clicking the X ?"

ad shinx: Lootframe Infos like this:

BOP or BOE
Questitem
Cloth, Leather or Male and so on...

but would settle for just the BoP or BoE texts or even just blank if its BoP and have the BoE text appear if it's BoE.

Again, great addon, keep up the good work!!!!

enable lcloot-config and show anchor.

Switching from Xloot to this add-on and I love it so far. However, Xloot used to have a feature where you could see how many people need/greed/passed on items next to the group loot. In 3.2 it no longer did that. Is this something that can be implemented here?
The numbers should apear on the need/greed/pass icons.
