LUI v2211 Dragonflight 10.0.2 Edition, with new versioning
Important:
- For technical support please go to the LUI Discord Server
To access the Twitter integration stuff, either disable the Chat module or type /share
If you are doing a new install and you see that the frames are overlapping, or unaligned, you need to move the frames yourself:
Chat (BottomLeft): Go over it and right click on "General" tab of the chat frame, click Unlock Window and drag the tab around until you have the frame in a position you like.
Omen (MiddleLeft): Type "/omen config" (without quotes) and uncheck Lock Omen, drag it around, once you're done, check Lock Omen again.
Recount (MiddleRight) Type "/recount config" (without quotes) and go to Window and uncheck Lock Window. Move it around, and lock it back up when you're done. You're free to re-enable the Report, File, Config icons if you want.
Raid (BottomRight): Type "/lui", go in Unitframes and change the Raid settings. Then move the lone raid frame with your name around. You may need to reload UI for changes to apply (Fix pending)

Re: Grid
Found a post on forums about this UI and had to check it out.
Really cool compilation. Don't plan to use it myself (like having my own interface) but picked up some ideas from u Keep it up.
If so, ofc it doesn't work as u want it :P If I'm wrong, sry... Anyway, if u want to copy ur grid config, open ur old WTF folder. In folder "...WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\Saved Variables" u got "Grid.lua" and "Grid/lua.bak" files. Copy and replace those 2 files to ur new WTF folder.

There you find suboptions called "OnEnter, OnEvent, OnLeave..." i suggest you dont have any lua code or kgpanels / eepanels experience.. so you'll have to work a couple of hours to make your own clickable bar. but always remember.. its really easy at the moment you just know how it works. :-) i will make a new and more detailed tutorial in a few days. i just have absolutly no freetime at the moment... i think i said this about 100 times now :-)

Re: suggestion for future and a question
there are no known problems with bgs... all panels will show up at the moment your grid show up.. and all panels will hide at the moment your grid hides. so if grid solo layout = none... all panels will dissapear if you are leaving a battleground. |

suggestion for future and a question
Absolutely love the interface, my screen resolution is different so I've been playing around with it and turning it into my own. That being said, one thing I noticed is that the anchor points for the panels are often just based on the center of the frame. You might want to play around with anchoring to the corners, or sides as that will allow a bit more flexibility when moving to different size screens. bottom left is bottom left, regardless of the screen size, so would be a good way to anchor the chat bars, etc.
My question... I run BGs a lot, and when I do the panels dependant on the grid frame often aren't reverting back to a solo state. I have checked the grid layout options and they are correct. Any thoughts on why this would happen? do the onevent() scripts not work well with going in/out of BGs? Again, great interface, some great choices on keeping it minimalistic as well, keep up the good work and I look forward to future changes. |
