I am no longer developing or maintaining World of Warcraft addons. I haven't played in years, and don't have the time or interest to continue working on addons for a game I don't play anymore. oUF layout with many PvE-oriented features and a few options.
Features include aura filtering, dispel highlighting, threat highlighting, incoming heal bars, display of all secondary resources, totem timers, cast bars for player/pet/target, incoming resurrection text, combat feedback text, AFK timers, and smoothly updating bars. Mouse over the frames for more detailed health and power text. Hold Shift out of combat to temporarily disable aura filtering and see all buffs. Some elements auto-adjust based on role (healer, tank, damage).

Type /pouf for options, or browse to the oUF Phanx panel in the standard Interface Options window.

Supported units: player, pet, target, target’s target, focus, focus’s target, party, party pets, arena enemies, and bosses. Raid frames will not be added; use Grid or another raid frame addon of your choice.

Supported plugins: oUF_MovableFrames, oUF_SpellRange, and any plugin which does not require explicit support from within a layout. Also Clique for click-casting.

Note that you must install the oUF core addon separately.

If you want to change something that does not have an in-game option to change, you will need to modify the addon's Lua code yourself. If you need help modifying the code, do not post here. Would it be possible to get class colored health bars (and power colored power bars) or is that something you're not interested in adding?

I ask only because I'm one of those odd, odd people that enjoys lots of bright colors on my screen. (Helps me while healing without my glasses.)

Probably, but I have no interest in doing so. If you want to modify the image to work as a SharedMedia border, feel free.

You need to reload your UI after changing the setting, as the color is only applied to the health bar once at login; I'll make a note to fix that in a future release.

Hi Phanx,

great work with your UI. It looks very nice.

One question: Is it possible to implement your border texture (like your unit frames are using) as a border in Shared Media? It seems that this texture is not in the common border texture format.

Please advise.

The health bar foreground uses the same color as the border, so you could just change the border color setting.
Thanks for your reply. I tried changing the border color but it didn't seem to affect the color of the healthbar foreground. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you mean by foreground and background.

Let's say I'm at 75% health. I'm thinking of foreground as the dark grey color that's filling 75% of the bar, and background as the light grey color filling the 25% of the bar.

I'm trying to make the foreground a color that's very distinct from the background, cause right now I can't really see the bar length due to it being grey on grey.

Several things. First, you'd need to remove the CustomFilter on the Buffs and Debuffs elements for the target frame. Second, you'd need to modify both the Buffs and Debuffs element to show more icons, and probably move them so they didn't overlap. If you need more specific assistance, post in the oUF forum on this site.

The current coloring of the health bar and the background are really similar, so it's hard to tell the size of a unitframe's healthbar. Would it be possible to make the coloring more distinct?

  • Added embedded libraries required for configuration panel and resurrection status text; if you do not need these features, you can safely delete the "Libs" folder.
