oUF Phanx  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 8.0.1.0
by: Phanx [More]

I am no longer developing or maintaining World of Warcraft addons. I haven't played in years, and don't have the time or interest to continue working on addons for a game I don't play anymore. If you are an addon author interested in continuing one of my addons, please see https://phanx.net/addons/. If you are an addon user, sorry, but there won't be any more fixes or updates from me.

oUF layout with many PvE-oriented features and a few options.
Features include aura filtering, dispel highlighting, threat highlighting, incoming heal bars, display of all secondary resources, totem timers, cast bars for player/pet/target, incoming resurrection text, combat feedback text, AFK timers, and smoothly updating bars. Mouse over the frames for more detailed health and power text. Hold Shift out of combat to temporarily disable aura filtering and see all buffs. Some elements auto-adjust based on role (healer, tank, damage).

Type /pouf for options, or browse to the oUF Phanx panel in the standard Interface Options window.

Supported units: player, pet, target, target’s target, focus, focus’s target, party, party pets, arena enemies, and bosses. Raid frames will not be added; use Grid or another raid frame addon of your choice.

Supported plugins: oUF_MovableFrames, oUF_SpellRange, and any plugin which does not require explicit support from within a layout. Also Clique for click-casting.

Note that you must install the oUF core addon separately.
Feedback
Post a ticket on GitHub or post a comment on this page. If you are reporting a problem, please read this first.

If you want to change something that does not have an in-game option to change, you will need to modify the addon's Lua code yourself. If you need help modifying the code, do not post here. This page is for support of the official version only, and tickets/comments asking for help with code changes on this page will be deleted. Post in the oUF forum instead.

If you are using a modified version of oUF_Phanx, do not post here. This page is for support of the official version only. Reproduce the problem with the official version first, or post in the oUF forum instead.
Language Support

It should be a colored dot indicating the PvP state for player-controlled units. Are you changing your UI font by placing font files in your WoW folder, rather than by using an addon to do it? If so, then the PvP dot is showing up as a question mark because the font you replaced ARIAL.TTF with doesn't include a glyph for the "bullet point" character.

I guess I can make it use the addon's included font (PT Sans) instead of Arial, since that way I can guarantee a bullet character is available even if you've replaced the game's default font files.

LOVE this unit frame setup it actually matches the new theme I was going for perfectly with my dominos skin...just a great find and i love the functionality of it. it's everything i was seeking. i was curious about what this is however, as it is in front of the name of pretty much every single player and target that i click on...

Just seems needless I guess until I understand what it's actually indicating, if anything?

Yes, there will be an update, eventually. I have 50 addons to update, and I haven't had an active subscription in months, so I'm working on a trial account, and starting with the addons that require the least amount of work. With all the class changes in the patch, oUF_Phanx is going to require a fair bit of work, which means it's pretty much at the end of the list. It may be another week or two.

Hello, love the layout but I'd like to ask a question...
I've been fiddling with the options for a while but I'm unable to add the shield texture (which, afaik is already implemented in oUF itself). By following the instructions from the comments of the core I added this part at the code at line 107 in the castbar widget (oUF_Phanx/Features/Castbar.lua):
Code:
if unit == "target" then
  local Shield = Castbar:CreateTexture(nil, "HIGHLIGHT")
  Shield:SetSize(height, height)
  Shield:SetPoint("CENTER", Castbar)
  Castbar.Shield = Shield
end
The thing is, it's simply not working... am I missing something obvious?

EDIT: Strangely enough the shield part is detected by the frame stack but it still seems that it just doesn't show up...

Hi Phanx

Been using this for a while. Could you add a couple of features?

- Turn on and off mouse over and shift key to show health / mana ( would like to see it at all times )
- Option to show target debuffs at all times filtered and unfiltered
- Change width between party frames to show cast bar
- Show debuffs on target of target frame
- Show debuffs on player frame

Re: Adding Auras

What spell ID are you using for Devouring Plague?

Adding Auras

Phanx, I have successfully added Void Entropy for my Shadow Priest. By default, oUF_Phanx supports Shadow Word: Pain and Vampiric Embrace. However, when I try adding Devouring Plague (not supported by default) it takes it until I either reload the UI or logout/exit from the game.

I could be doing something wrong, of course, but perhaps you have some insight on the matter.

The latest version is 6.1.0.75 on both Curse and WoWInterface. Please update and report back if the error still occurs. You may need to restart WoW after updating to catch new files.

config options error again :(

Phanx, I see someone posted the error already, but since this is a newer version (6.0.3.74) from Curse rather than Wowinterface, I thought you might want to know.

I get this error with both oUF_Phanx and PhanxBuffs, but not Diplomancer. I do not know about PhanxChat, as I do not have it installed.

Well, that's bizarre. The packager apparently put the wrong library file in the wrong sub-folder. I just uploaded a manually fixed ZIP file, and will keep an eye on the next time to make sure it doesn't do it again.
