Options

Type /pouf for options, or browse to the oUF Phanx panel in the standard Interface Options window.

⚑ If you want to change something that doesn’t have an in-game option to change, you will need to modify the layout’s Lua code yourself. If you need help modifying the code, post in the oUF forum, not here. This page is for support of the official version only.

Bug Reports

To report an error or other problem, please submit a bug report ticket.

Please don't use comments to report bugs, as comments cannot be bookmarked, searched, sorted, etc. and things posted there tend to get lost quickly or overlooked entirely.

⚑ If you are using a copy of oUF_Phanx with modifications of any kind, do not report bugs here. Reproduce the problem with an unmodified copy first, or post in the oUF forum for help with your modifications.

Feature Requests

Please note that this layout is written primarily to fill my own needs as a PvE enhancement shaman, and I'm not interested in adding any major features I wouldn't use myself. If you'd like to suggest a minor change to improve the layout for your class, or request support for a plugin, feel free to submit a suggestion describing your idea.

Raid frames will not be added. Use Grid or another raid frame addon of your choice.

Absorb amount bars are not planned at this time. If you think you have a good reason why I should change my mind, and it isn't PvP- or priest-specific, post a comment.

Aura Filter Notes

The predefined filters are based on the following criteria. If you think something should be changed in the predefined filter list for your class, please make sure it meets these criteria before requesting it.

Debuffs must be:

actively applied (feral druids don’t see Infected Wounds)
and not channeled (warlocks don’t see Drain Life),
or applied by someone else, and affects what you apply (rogues do see Curse of the Elements).

Buffs must be:

actively applied (resto shamans don’t see Earthliving)
with a short duration (priests don’t see Power Word: Fortitude)
or directly affecting your combat choices (Clearcasting, Bloodlust, etc).

Language Support

Compatible with English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Português, Русский, 한국어, 简体中文, and 繁體中文 game clients.

Translated into English, Deutsch (partial), Español, Français, Português, and 简体中文.

To add or update translations for any locale, enter them on the CurseForge project page and then send me a PM here (or on CurseForge) to let me know that you’ve made changes. The PM is important -- Curse doesn't notify me when new translations are added, so if you don't notify me either, I may not notice your translations for weeks, months, or ever!

Find them in the Interface Options window, or by typing "/op". For the sake of simplicity, some settings are not applied until you reload the UI. LibSharedMedia-3.0 is supported for font and statusbar texture selection. If you don't have the library, you'll still be able to choose between the font/texture included with the layout, and the Blizzard fonts/texture. Resurrection text finally works; this feature requires LibResComm-1.0. Aura icons are gone. I use SatrinaBuffFrames for all my aura displays, and am not interested in maintaining code for features I don't use. Libraries are now (mostly) embedded, so you don't need to download and install them separately. However, due to technical/licensing issues, LibHealComm-4.0 is not currently embedded, and you should continue to install it separately. Due to many changes in the way the files are named/organized, you should delete your existing oUF_Phanx folder before installing this update. Yes, I am aware that the health/name texts on targettarget and focustarget frames overlap slightly with most fonts, including the default one bundled with the layout. The layout is tuned for the font I actually use, but that font is not licensed for redistribution, so I chose a similar font that is licensed for free redistribution. This is a bug in the layout; it will be fixed in the next release.

No. This is a unit frame layout, not a buff/debuff addon. This layout does show (most) debuffs on the player frame for convenience, and in the future may show selected debuffs on the focus frame for crowd control purposes, but I will never add full aura displays for those units. Any buff mod will let you move your buff/debuff displays, including right next to your player frame if that's what you want.

Speaking as someone who has played a healer for over three years, I'd have to say that if you're failing at anything because you can't easily see your buff timers, you need to fix your UI. Any buff addon (I personally use Satrina Buff Frames) will let you move your buff display and customize how the timers are shown. If your buffs are at the top of your screen and you find that they are too hard to see, move them. That isn't a problem a unit frame layout can solve.

No. You could easily make that change yourself by editing the layout. It would require more than just moving the targettarget and focustarget frames; you would also need to move the target and focus auras, name text, and level text, or have a huge gap between the frames. It's also not something I am interested in, so I won't spend the time to do it.

Also no. I don't see any use for ToToT. When raid healing, I target the boss (if anything), and heal with Grid and Clique. When tank healing, I target the tank, and heal with keybinds. In neither case is ToToT useful. You should already have your raid or party frames configured to show you which group members have aggro. Trying to use ToToT for this purpose wastes time by giving you more places to look for the same information, and only shows you who the tank's current target is targetting, not who all enemies are targetting. The only reason I could see this being useful is if your specific healing assignment was "always and only heal whoever this tank's target is targetting", and in over four years of raiding, I've never heard of anyone assigning heals this way.

The font you are using for the mod is ExpresswayFree, but that is not what we are asking you. We want to know what the font is you used when you added the text to your images. For example the words "Textured borders, Magic debuff highlighted.", "Plain borders, Aggro highlighted." ect....... And when I say I have searched high and low, I mean I have searched over 4000 fonts online, before I decided to ask you what the font was. So, if you could assist use, that would be great, if not, oh well. Other then that, keep up the good work on your mods.

Nope. Works fine for me. Note that as with any unit frame addon, you cannot set your focus unit from the right-click dropdown menu, because Blizzard is lazy and won't spend time fixing their dropdown menu system for third-party addons.

Nope. As per the description, this layout is primarily designed for healing, but I do use it on two DPS characters as well and have never felt the inverted health bars were a problem. Feel free to modify your local copy, but I do not have the time or interest to walk you through it.

Not surprising, considering that oUF_Phanx has built-in debuff highlighting. I would expect similar issues if you try to use a separate aggro/threat or incoming heal plugin too.

Sweet! Something new to play with. One question, that has nothing to do with the addon itself: what is the name of the font used for the descriptions in your screenshots? I really like it.

Anyone have any clue as to what the font is, that is being used for the descriptions in this mod. I've searched high and low, and can't seem to find it.
