Neav UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 9.0.4
by: Neal, ballagarba, thomasjohnshannon

Neav UI
This UI compilation will work on all resolution.

I will not help with questions
Most of the addons in this compilation is only configurable via the supplied Lua config files (config.lua), so some basic programming knowledge is highly recommended but not required. A lot of the options are basically setting the value to either true or false depending on if you want to enable or disable the feature.

AddOns include
!Beautycase
!Colorz
nBuff
nChat
nCore
nMainbar
nMinimap
nPlates (by thomasjohnshannon)
nPower
nTooltip
oUF (by Haste)
oUF_Neav
oUF_NeavRaid

Thanks to Haste, kerrang, zork, Tuller, and many more for their great AddOns. And thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain for making Neav UI compatible with Legion.

Information
A lot of the addons have a config.lua file where you can change some settings. So look first into this file before you ask something! Some addons like nCore, oUF_Neav and oUF_NeavRaid have an in-game configuration.

How can I move the player, target, focus, boss and arena frames?
Use the /neav slash command to toggle the anchors to move the frames around.

How can I move the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button on the first button of the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar to move the them.

Commands
/neavrt to move the raid frames.
/rolecheck or /rcheck to do a role check.
/ntooltip toggles the tooltip anchor.
/alertframemover toggles the "talking head" anchor.
/neavcast toggles the anchors for the castbars.
/neavbag toggles the bag bar.
/moveextraactionbar toggles the anchor for the extra action button.

Hello, in nTooltip, I had to add this line to put the tooltip in the top left corner correctly.

Code:
hooksecurefunc('GameTooltip_SetDefaultAnchor', function(self, parent)
    if (cfg.showOnMouseover) then
        self:SetOwner(parent, 'ANCHOR_CURSOR')
    else
        self:SetOwner(parent, "ANCHOR_NONE")
        self:SetPoint(unpack(cfg.position))
    end
end)

To be honest, I am only using nPlates on my UI. I will try and test the whole UI and let you know if the plates are behaving correctly. Basically, some of the nearby plates still glows after I am leaving combat. Not a deal breaker, heh.

Okey. So I Google Translated this, and you want the autogreed to only apply when at max level. I'll consider adding an option for it.

About auto repair and auto sell junk, there's a bunch of similar addons here at Wowinterface that already does that.

The Coloring of Frames and Tooltips maybe needs some modification, cos Paladin, Warrior and DK have the same Color. No problem in general for me just wanted to say that, maybe u don´t know or its an error by me.
Another problem with Colors I recognized was the Health and Mana Text on the Player and Targetframes
which is shown too bright so its hard to see sometimes.
Maybe the size of the healthbar in the player/targetframes could be a bit bigger maybe up to the upper side of the frames, your choice. f.e. like in the "rufio ui"

Using your UI right now with some modifications done by me which fits my needs and it runs really smooth and you´ve done a great job by making this.
I'll see what I can do about the arena frames, the problem is that I never play arena. Would you mind pasting the errors here? It would be extremely helpful.

You sure you monitor ain't broken? :P Neav UI is using the default class colors. The size of the healthbar on player/target will stay as they are since that's how the default frames look.

--MiniMapBattlefieldFrame.Text:SetText('P')
But when I change the letters as I wish to have it. Example "D" for dungeon and "P" for pvp.
They still share the same letter which is "Q", when i queue for any of PVP or Dungeons. Any Idea how to seperate them?

I've messed around alot in the config. Can anyone help out?
the reason for this is the LFG and PvP icons for Dungeon finder and Battleground finder are one in the same. They all linked to one common icon. If you would like to use the scrolling eye which is the default blizzard one do the following in the lua:

Remove:
Code:
QueueStatusMinimapButton.Eye:Hide()

hooksecurefunc('EyeTemplate_StartAnimating', function(self)
    self:SetScript('OnUpdate', nil)
end)

QueueStatusMinimapButton.Text = QueueStatusMinimapButton:CreateFontString(nil, 'OVERLAY')
QueueStatusMinimapButton.Text:SetFont('Fonts\\ARIALN.ttf', 15, 'OUTLINE')
QueueStatusMinimapButton.Text:SetPoint('TOP', QueueStatusMinimapButton)
QueueStatusMinimapButton.Text:SetTextColor(1, 0.4, 0)
QueueStatusMinimapButton.Text:SetText('Q')
Now the Eye will be in place of the "Q".

But as stated before you can only have one letter now and balla used "Q" beacuse as you can see the frame is named QueueStatus.

Hope this helps.
Coke

EDIT: also the "--" infront of red text means that that line of text is hidden from the code so it will not be used.

Chat Border

ballagarba,
A few people have been asking how to get the border around the chat. Do you think you could add the below code to nChat and give it a config option so they can toggle it on or off.

Code:
if (IsAddOnLoaded('!Beautycase')) then
	do
		for i = 1, NUM_CHAT_WINDOWS do
			local cf = _G['ChatFrame'..i]
			if cf then
				cf:CreateBeautyBorder(10)
				cf:SetBeautyBorderPadding( 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 8, 5, 8)
			end
		end

		local ct = _G['ChatFrame2']
		if ct then
			ct:CreateBeautyBorder(10)
			ct:SetBeautyBorderPadding(5, 29, 5, 29, 5, 8, 5, 8)
		end
	end
end
Thanks
Coke

Hi,

hi,

first of all must say i love the n* mods - great job.

Secondly as i can't seem to find much documentation on the config file is there a way with nChat to move the input box from above the chat box to below it? or is it something i need to do in the actual lua? and if so any tips on where to start.

Cheers.
