Neav UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 9.0.4
by: Neal, ballagarba, thomasjohnshannon

Neav UI
This UI compilation will work on all resolution.

I will not help with questions
Most of the addons in this compilation is only configurable via the supplied Lua config files (config.lua), so some basic programming knowledge is highly recommended but not required. A lot of the options are basically setting the value to either true or false depending on if you want to enable or disable the feature.

AddOns include
!Beautycase
!Colorz
nBuff
nChat
nCore
nMainbar
nMinimap
nPlates (by thomasjohnshannon)
nPower
nTooltip
oUF (by Haste)
oUF_Neav
oUF_NeavRaid

Thanks to Haste, kerrang, zork, Tuller, and many more for their great AddOns. And thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain for making Neav UI compatible with Legion.

Information
A lot of the addons have a config.lua file where you can change some settings. So look first into this file before you ask something! Some addons like nCore, oUF_Neav and oUF_NeavRaid have an in-game configuration.

How can I move the player, target, focus, boss and arena frames?
Use the /neav slash command to toggle the anchors to move the frames around.

How can I move the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button on the first button of the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar to move the them.

Commands
/neavrt to move the raid frames.
/rolecheck or /rcheck to do a role check.
/ntooltip toggles the tooltip anchor.
/alertframemover toggles the "talking head" anchor.
/neavcast toggles the anchors for the castbars.
/neavbag toggles the bag bar.
/moveextraactionbar toggles the anchor for the extra action button.

    self.FreebAuras = CreateFrame('Frame', nil, self)
    self.FreebAuras:SetSize(config.units.raid.iconSize, config.units.raid.iconSize)
    self.FreebAuras:SetPoint('CENTER', self.Health)
That would make it seem I should see an icon for at least one debuff but that doesn't do it.
1) Do I need to add the spell id for the debuff in there somehwere?
2) Is there some filter or do I need to make some sort of white list or black list setup?
3) Does this need oUF_Freebgrid to work?
Hi, unfortunately the raid frames haven't been updated for WoD with regard to boss debuffs.

What you have to do though is update "oUF_NeavRaid/modules/oUF_Freebgrid/oUF_Freebgrid_AurasList.lua". Depending on how versed you are in modifying addons it's fairly straight forward. But you need two things:

1. The instance id of each raid instance in WoD, you can get this from entering a raid instance and type "/run print(GetCurrentMapAreaID())". Alternative you could probably steal this from some other addon. And updated the "L" list.

2. Get a list of spell ids you want to track, and append them to the list of tracked debuffs.

I should really have done this myself a long time ago, but since I've mostly been doing LFR as DPS I never needed it.

Tooltip item level not showing updated ilvl

With the latest valor patch update, when you upgrade an item with valor it does not show the new updated ilvl in the tooltip but it does show the current upgrade level ( 0/2, 1/2 or 2/2 ). I'm assuming its from the module spellid.lua from nCore addon. Is there a way to fix this?

nice update on github, nPlate now works fine for me except there is something changed about it, i think im missing the health text and health percentage inside the nameplate itself, unless im forgotting how it looked before, but i kinda swore before that it had a percentage at least

EDIT: oh yea i checked old screenshots, it had a [full amount hp if health is full] and if the health is not full it will change to [amount of HP - percentage]

with github update, these info arent showing.

If you're feeling adventurous, this is how you can fix it https://github.com/renstrom/NeavUI/c...f992a9daa159e9 while waiting for a proper release.

However the health values are still b0rked, according to this thread it's because of a dumb change Blizzard did. And hopefully they will revert it.

ag3nt I just thought to answer you here, all of these settings are within the blizzard interface options itself, has nothing to do with the addons, for class colored nameplates just go to Interface > Names, search for class colored there and check that.

For chat bubbles go to Interface > Chat I think or something similar that resemble chat settings, its there for chat bubbles aswell, hope that helps.
I'm talking about people's names in nTooltip, the names are just white instead of class colored and as for the chat bubbles I was asking how to skin them with !beautycase like in the screenshot.
That would be someone elses addon they created for "Bubbles" there is a built in one with NeavUi its not colored like that but gives you a different feel.

In your nCore folder their is a modules folder that should have a file name "-bubbles.lua" remove the - and it should work if not it may need to be added to the TOC file.

Hope this helps.

is there any possible way for nameplates to keep the name itself alpha on 1 even if not targetted, for example, i like that when i target a enemy, all other non-targetted nameplates get into 0.5 alpha, but i want the name & cast to be full 1 alpha even if not targetted, that helps me see the names around me if i'm not targetting them, and also helps if i want to see what theyre casting.

I hope that make sense to you, and i hope i get some help if possible, sorry for my bad english, thanks
