Neav UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 9.0.4
by: Neal, ballagarba, thomasjohnshannon

Neav UI
This UI compilation will work on all resolution.

I will not help with questions
Most of the addons in this compilation is only configurable via the supplied Lua config files (config.lua), so some basic programming knowledge is highly recommended but not required. A lot of the options are basically setting the value to either true or false depending on if you want to enable or disable the feature.

AddOns include
!Beautycase
!Colorz
nBuff
nChat
nCore
nMainbar
nMinimap
nPlates (by thomasjohnshannon)
nPower
nTooltip
oUF (by Haste)
oUF_Neav
oUF_NeavRaid

Thanks to Haste, kerrang, zork, Tuller, and many more for their great AddOns. And thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain for making Neav UI compatible with Legion.

Information
A lot of the addons have a config.lua file where you can change some settings. So look first into this file before you ask something! Some addons like nCore, oUF_Neav and oUF_NeavRaid have an in-game configuration.

How can I move the player, target, focus, boss and arena frames?
Use the /neav slash command to toggle the anchors to move the frames around.

How can I move the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button on the first button of the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar to move the them.

Commands
/neavrt to move the raid frames.
/rolecheck or /rcheck to do a role check.
/ntooltip toggles the tooltip anchor.
/alertframemover toggles the "talking head" anchor.
/neavcast toggles the anchors for the castbars.
/neavbag toggles the bag bar.
/moveextraactionbar toggles the anchor for the extra action button.

No "Spell is not ready yet" etc messages.

With the latest version of nCore, there are none of the Red Error messages being displayed.

Small thing, but still a bug?

Thanks!!!

Is the purple tanking color working properly? I haven't had a way to properly test it so feedback on it would be helpful.

Thank you so much for adding ability to hide friendly target nameplates with class colored name text instead

Only complaint tho that names are super high above their heads apposed to normal without any addons.

First picture is with nplates enabled and second is without http://imgur.com/a/LDx4V

    elseif (index >= 2 and mod(index, cfg.buffPerRow) == 1) then

    end
That sets the location of the first debuff and the reset are set relative to it.
Thanks worked like a charm. I really hope there is some possible way to overwrrite the function that calls AuraButton_UpdateDuration...maybe hardcode it into the function?

Re: Re: nPlates 2.0

Yet another new nPlates update!

New Features
  • Purple Off-Tank Color, when using "Tank Mode" or "Color Name by Threat" it will color mobs being tanked by the other tank in purple. Only visible to people with the tank role.

Bug Fix
  • Fixed interrupt color for channeled spells.

Note
  • My ability to test the purple off tank color is limited so watch out for bugs and any feedback would be useful.

I looked into this and the function that calls AuraButton_UpdateDuration uses a securecall due to a taint issues so I'm not sure if it can be overwritten.
I hope it can be would be really nice to have a different color duration text. What about moving the debuff frame?

that is great and neat nplates, there's one problem with casting bar on raids, sometimes it shows a green border even tho on the blizz UI it shows a shield uninterruptable, so i dont know why it shows green and not red, if you can add the shield back with the border color think it can fix it, but not sure.

I'm going to ask two features if you got time to do it then thats awesome, if not then i understand. tho there's a feature that I saw on another nplate that is awesome for tanking, it changes the color of plate to purple if the offtank is tanking, which is nice that you know the other tank is tanking, but dont know how they do it, if its hard to do then forget it, just a thought :P

also a second feature is glowing effect, i remember old nplates got glowing effect on threat aswell, it shows behind the border kind of, it was nice too.

Would you only want the friendly nameplates to show up like that outside of combat? And you can set the name rules in the default "Names" ui settings that Blizzard has.

nPlates

I pushed out a new version of nPlates 2.0 .

New Features
  • Use Larger Names, always use the name size from the larger nameplates.
  • Better font support for people not using NeavUI and languages other than English.
  • New /nplates slash command. Use "/nplates config" to bring up options or "/nplates reset" to reset all cvar options to Blizzard defaults.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed nameplates sometimes sticking in place due to buff frame code bug.
  • Fixed Totem Icon not enabling properly on existing totems.
  • Fixed Sticky Nameplates not setting correctly if it was changed outside of the addon.

Notes
  • Removed Aggro Flash from Name options since it isn't supported.
  • If you are having performance problems I suggest setting the minimum alpha to at least 80%.
