Neav UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 9.0.4
by: Neal, ballagarba, thomasjohnshannon

Neav UI
This UI compilation will work on all resolution.

I will not help with questions
Most of the addons in this compilation is only configurable via the supplied Lua config files (config.lua), so some basic programming knowledge is highly recommended but not required. A lot of the options are basically setting the value to either true or false depending on if you want to enable or disable the feature.

AddOns include
!Beautycase
!Colorz
nBuff
nChat
nCore
nMainbar
nMinimap
nPlates (by thomasjohnshannon)
nPower
nTooltip
oUF (by Haste)
oUF_Neav
oUF_NeavRaid

Thanks to Haste, kerrang, zork, Tuller, and many more for their great AddOns. And thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain for making Neav UI compatible with Legion.

Information
A lot of the addons have a config.lua file where you can change some settings. So look first into this file before you ask something! Some addons like nCore, oUF_Neav and oUF_NeavRaid have an in-game configuration.

How can I move the player, target, focus, boss and arena frames?
Use the /neav slash command to toggle the anchors to move the frames around.

How can I move the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button on the first button of the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar to move the them.

Commands
/neavrt to move the raid frames.
/rolecheck or /rcheck to do a role check.
/ntooltip toggles the tooltip anchor.
/alertframemover toggles the "talking head" anchor.
/neavcast toggles the anchors for the castbars.
/neavbag toggles the bag bar.
/moveextraactionbar toggles the anchor for the extra action button.

Yes I do. Sorry if I'm not being responsive over there (I've seen the issues raised though). I'm kind of in between using LS: UI and potentially doing some bigger changes to Neav UI (e.g. in-game config) but ran out of steam a little.

Did anyone figure out a fix for this?
I think you can fix it by adding this line in for example nCore\core.lua:

Code:
RANGE_INDICATOR = "*"
The problem is that the original value of RANGE_INDICATOR contains a unicode characters that doesn't exist in the fonts used by NeavUI. So Blizzard renders an ugly square instead.

Update: Seems like the above causes taint and prevents you from click quest items

Maybe have it somewhere else?
it's explained in the description

How can I move the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar ?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button on the first button of the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar to move the them.

And the "Mana Bar" is a AddOns called "nPower", to show resources like : mana / rage / focus etc.
I'm aware, just seems silly that's the default location

Re: Re: config file not working

Thanks! Worked like a charm. Best UI out there; a much better fit for WoWs current style, than their default one.

Hi balla,

Hope you‘re doing fine during these crazy times Wanna drop a thank you for updating this fascinating UI. Love all the details and style. Is an update of the Auralist for Shadowlands planned? Your raidframes are by far the best and simplest unitframes. I’m not able to switch to another addon, it‘s feels totally weird

Strange Rectangle as out of range indicator

For all actions which normally show an out of range indicator dot in the upper right corner I can see a rectangle instead. This rectangle does not appear if the button has an hotkey assigned (e.g. the lower button bar) and otherwise it appears grey (in range) or red (out of range).

For some reason, the enemy nameplates are not showing on any of my caster characters, it only shows the name. No issues on melee characters. Anyone have any clue?

Also, the castbar and enemy castbar are not centered.

Thank you very much! No issues so far on my fury warrior.
