Version: v0.34
by: shyce [More]

MeltFace Reborn v0.4 - Coming soon.
Like this? Click 'My Favorite' ->
Let me know if I can port this to your resolution in the next version.
1920x1080, 1680x1050, 1440x900, 1360x768, and 1280x1024.

Video of 0.32 <-- A couple hotfixes behind but I was still doing the editing, nothing great but it shows the UI in action.

This is a complete overhaul of MeltFace Reborn v0.21 -- You will need to perform a fresh installation.

Installation
1) Backup your Interface and WTF directory.

2) Extract the folders & files to your World of Warcraft installation directory.
a. WTF, Interface, and Fonts folders are included and should be placed in the main WoW directory.
b. The folder labeled "WTF (YYYYxZZZZ)" that corresponds to your resolution needs to be renamed "WTF".
c. You'll need to browse the WTF\Account folder and change ACCOUNTNAME to your account name in caps.
d. Now go into that folder and change "Server Name Here" to your server.
e. Finally enter the server folder and change "CharacterName" to your Character's name.
3) DONT DO ANYTHING but type(in chat): /reflux switch shyui

Please consider a donation if you like this UI!

Hotfix Notes v0.31-v0.34
-New Resolution: 1440x900 resolution has an aspect ratio of 1.6, as does 1680x1050. Therefore, after testing the profile for 1440x900 for all addons, it also works perfectly. Enjoy!
-Updated TipTac to match interface style.
-Added Blessing of Might to buff identification panel.
-Updated DogTags for universal identification of dead, enemy, friendly, offline, and player targets to adjust accordingly per frame.
-Huge update in aesthetics between unit frames. Updated SBF to match new unit frame shades.
-Fixed PitBull UnitFrame issue with confusion between party members & party pets.
-Fixed a PitBull UnitFrame Ascending problem with party members vs party pets.
-Fixed default Aloft configuration showing friendly nameplates and not enemy namesplates.
-Fixed an oversight in DogTags on unit frames, causing them to not displaying missing health properly for bosses.

Release Notes v0.3
-Added BigRed.
-Replaced AutoProfitX2 with SellJunk.
-Replaced AuctionLite with Auctionator for performance.
-Replaced Better Inbox with Postal for performance.
-Updated Aloft, DBM, ImprovedMerchant, Mapster, Opie, OmniCC and TipTac.
-Removed Power Auras Classic for Power Auras (Dual Spec) version and added high-res graphics pack.
-Added Questhelper, Lightheaded, Gathermate.
-The following addons are disabled by default: XPBarNone, Questhelper, Lightheaded, Gathermate, and Gladius. This change was made based on situational user preferences.
-Replaced RedRange with Buttonrange for performance.
-Cracked open GIMP and touched up textures that had some ugly edges that made skinning with kgPanels a little odd.
-Fixed scaling issues between resolutions by comparing resolutions using window mode. There shouldn't be problems with insanely small text anymore. Removed secondary fonts folder because I believe I nailed it this time.
-Redesigned Pitbull4 windows from top to bottom and incorporated a lot of neat things. You'll see what I mean!
-Added a ton of fonts & textures for easier user customization.
-Changed the way SBF deals with target debuffs. If you'd like to see all buffs/debuffs on a target, remove the filter on "target list" with (/sbf options) "my" and change it to blacklist instead of whitelist.
-Huge improvements on addon positioning and behavior between all resolutions.
-Video coming soon, editing in Sony Vegas now!

Things coming in 0.4
-I need ideas! Otherwise 0.3 may be the final version until a new blizzard patch breaks this glorious interface.

AddOns

Issues
- None yet.

If you like my compilation, feel free to send comments to [email protected] or donate on WoWInterface. A ton of hours went into creating this interface.

-Fixed grid problems.
-Incorporated DBM & Aloft for raid goodness.
-Incorporated Gladius for PVP goodness.
-Added full screen glow & heartbeat addons for general leet sauce.
-Most elements are now anchored to the appropriate counterpart.
-Target now has a max buff/debuff list of 10 -- was eating too much space.

The reason I'm asking is because I didn't apply a filter to the target debuff list which I'll fix in the next version.
Well to be honest i didnt have that big of a deal with the debuff list but as a DPS im still using the "needtoknow" addon to keep track of my own debuffs/buffs anyways so i guess its all good.. when im RLing though i want the option to see all the debuffs so i can scream at people for not using what theyre supposed to vs the bosses and so on (like not having CoE up along with FF or Sunder armors)

So i still like the debufflisting and to be fair it doesnt take up a whole lot of space since the viewport of this whole UI is fairly large to begin with and i'll stick to it nomatter what.

If someone just wants to keep track of their own debuffs they could possibly just get needtoknow and turn the SBF debuffs off really.

Ps. Love the screen of the 0.3 version already and im looking forward to it =)

*edit*
forgot about the player/target frame, mostly i just went with any of the tribal looking one's since the player/targetframe's big and it felt a bit chucky without some form of graphic texture beeing on it since its otherwise such a nice graphical UI but its easy to change that yourself to whatever you want to have there so there no real use in trying to find the perfect match for the P/T bars since everyone will change it in some form

At first thought, that screen is too small to support the current size of the actual skin. Then again, you could always resize the skin itself with kgPanels. If this resolution will allow the skin to fit on screen (as-is), I'll make sure to provide support for it.

And i also got MSBT just for the better looks of the dmg/healing
aswell as static messages and CD's

Finally manages to switch my texture on both the player and targetframe cause i though they were a bit too flat and bright for my taste since i tend to slack around alot ingame i wanted something a bit mellower to look at ^^

I know ive had a similar problem with older UI's that i safely deleted after getting this one but if i find a way to make it a bit more healing efficient i'll make sure to put a note in here for you aswell.

(Still think blizzard should make a GUI for developers that allowes them to make UI's while not ingame)

Love it though <3

Fonts are also too small foor 1360x768, atleast for me. Like, everything was too small actually.
My monitor's native resolution is 1920x1080, so I was raping my eyes just trying to make it for your resolution. That's why I was hoping for people with native resolutions to port this, but I'll keep this in mind when I port it again.

What it came down to with fonts (which is 90% of the reason items are too small) is that I was trying to keep the compilation as close to the original as possible while still trying to incorporate new ideas. I'll spend more time on font selection (note: I did anticipate this problem and included an alternate fonts folder) in the next release.

Hey guys, I need your help. If you like this compilation, please post pictures on how you've modified textures/placement and why you've changed these items. I'd also like information on how this compilation works in a raid environment. Please post your resolution as well with any comments.

But after comparing this to the 1.3 teaser I'm just more set on the layout of 1.3 for my 1600x* and up resolutions. Again Great work on this regardless.
All of these items will be addressed with 0.3 version of MeltFace. Thank you for your feedback. I'm going to begin merging the two compilations and taking the best practices for both into consideration. I know what I did wrong in this compilation and why 1.3 was going to be a huge success. This is just a small skinning setback.

Kk thx for the help it worked like a charm.. just couldnt find the right submenu to look for ^^

Again.. i love this UI!

Please let me know how this works for you in a raid environment. I'm worried that the target's debuff list will grow too quickly and the user's debuffs on the boss/trash won't be visible. If I can hotfix this, I will, but I'm currently guildless on Shandris right now due to a recent server change.
