hud  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.2
by: Mickelus [More]

hud

Configuration can be accessed with /hud

Most things should work now exept changing animations on health and power bar, left and right block and settings for runes/cp.

Clicking the top left and top right corners of your screen should do the same thing as clicking your playerframe and targetframe.

Known bugs:
-health and power bars may act strange/show inaccurate values when their values increases and/or decreases rapidly
-combo points may not show when changing to a target that you already have combo points on

I belive a video would explain the addon better than a picture.

1.2: Fixed bugs with target power bar(texcoords and UNIT_DISPLAYPOWER)
1.1: fixed some sort of bug I think.
1: Fixed bugged bars!

9: Colors for targetbars, target health changes.
8.1: Fixed bug! loelz
8: Implented some sort of interaction thing, toc bumped.
7: Fixed bugs from release 6.
6: Added condition based fading and profiles.
5: Range checks should now be fully implented.
4: Added a castbar, or more like a castring.
3: Left, right and bottom bars should now be able to track buffs/debuffs.
2: you may now use the sweeping animation on the healthbar. Now using .zip . Does not yet use blizzards animation system (me so slack). toc bump.
1: Initial release

Give it a shot and see where it takes you, Skunk. Just make sure you have the latest oUF version.

I should probably be more clear. It appears to function for me, but it doesn't look on my screen like it does on yours, ala:

See the center of the frames? They're kinda this odd gradient thing rather than the clean transparencies I'm seeing in your screenies.

Though I'm not real sure why. oUF has always been something of a frustration for me to use since I'm not at all great with coding. The only thing I've managed to do with it was give the frames Global names so I could move them about using an addon like Discord Frame Modifier. I don't know if that small change could have resulted in this graphical issue, but in any case it's not working the way it ought for me.

Any pointers anyone could supply me with would be nice. I like the combination, but I want it to work right and look right.

Also, I use a dedicated LUA editor if I do any altering of code, so I don't have to pull it all apart like that to read it.

Thumbs up My UI build based on hud

Thanx for the awesome hud! Built up my new UI around it. Mixed in elements of OOMM UI v1 as well. 1920x1200 res and .64 UI scale overall.

Here's some screenshots-->>

Combat:

Casting:

Raid shot (10-man Uld):

Using oUF_Darnation for the unitframes. Bartender 4 for action bars (hidden except for 2 of em). MSBT for the scrolling battle text and Class Timers for disease tracking. SBF for buffs/debuffs (from OOMM UI) as well as the map, SLDT, Recount, Eaves Drop, chat frame. All credit goes to the original authors as I just put it together.

C & C welcome!

Keep up the great work, too!

There used to be a pretty neat set of oUF unitframes that would have gone nicely with this: Tarnation

Only problem being: no one maintains it. And it's brokey. :/

My laundry list at the moment, in order of priority would be:

1) Character-specific Profiles- It'd be nice to change the context colors and spells to track in the rangefinder according to what class I'm playing.

2) Out Of Combat fading- One of the chief reasons I started using HUDs over the standard player frames was the ability to hide it when not in combat, a feature many HUDs have.

Yes...I found the same problem here

maybe you can just add a small block for doing so

Love this hud

The only thing i would suggest is allowing raid icons, i have gotten use to the buffs and played with the colors and got it looking really nice the only thing is in a raid i have to really watch the targets because the hud doesn't show marks. Other than that i love it

Suggestion

I'm not sure if anyone else has suggested this yet.(or if it's already in the package, I didn't see it)

I would like to see a Targets Cast Bar, and maybe have the health bars the colour of the class you're targeting.

really cool HUD, some suggestions for growth

Really like this HUD, nice to see some innervation going on as far as in game HUD design goes. Some things I'd suggest to make this compete with some of the older more defined HUDs out there would be regen/ooc fading levels, Complete control over each segment of the rings (assigning what they represent), option to turn buff displays on and off, and lastly a threat indicator on one of the ring's slices would be cool. Great work so far though, definitely keeping an eye on this addon! =)

I was wondering do you have an older version of this with out the buffs around it, i love the hud it is the most unique one i have scene and i spent a few matches getting use to it. But i like my buffs on a separate part of the screen .. and in a raid all those icon get a little distracting, i was just asking if a earlier version was around with out the buffs.

thanks
