Per-unit price showing on Browse tab
Great add-on! This has been a much superior experience to using WoWEcon. I especially like the auto-splitting stacks. :-) Thank you.
I haven't used the Buy tab very much yet, so maybe I'm just not utilizing it correctly, but I use Auction House Search (AHsearch) on the Browse tab to remember my frequent searches, and WoWEcon used to have an option to show the listings with the bid/buyout prices per unit. I know that AuctionLite shows this info in the tooltip, but it makes it very convenient to glance over all the listings and see if any of the stacked items are a good deal or not. I'm finding that challenging right now with AuctionLite. How do the rest of you do daily checking of good deals on a specific item? For example, I like to buy Arcane Crystals when they are near 1g each, instead of 2.5g or higher. I feel like using the Buy tab is nice when I need a certain number of something right then, to get me the best deal, but not as much when I'm deciding whether to buy something I'll need in a week, or check again tomorrow for a better deal. Thanks! -Talix |

Another fan of the addon here. Thank you very much for taking the time to develop this.
Just wanted to add to Vis's suggestion. It would also be great if the addon stored the number of items per stack from previous auctions. An example of where this would be useful is when selling Inscriptions. If I have a stack of 5 Inscriptions the default setting is to sell all of the items in one stack, but I want to sell the items individually. If the addon remembered my previous setting I would only have to set this once rather than each time I sell the items. |

Re: Per-unit price showing on Browse tab
For example, just type "Arcane Crystal" into the "Buy" tab (leave the quantity blank) and then click "Search". You should see a list of all Arcane Crystals in the AH, sorted by per-item buyout price. You don't even need to glance at the tooltips--the best deals should be right there at the top of the list. Note that AL shows all listings on one page, so you don't have to click back and forth between pages to find the best prices. If you want to manually select a listing to buy, just click it and then click "Buyout". You can also use shift-click and control-click to select and buy out multiple listings at once. For example, if you want to buy all listings for Arcane Crystals that are under 1g per item, just click the top listing and then shift-click the last listing at 1g per item (which should highlight all the listings in between) and then click "Buyout" to buy them all at once. You can also type in partial item names. For example, try typing in "Skyflare Diamond". You'll see a list of everything that matches this text, which includes the raw gem and all of the cut gems. Each item is listed with its market price and historical price so that you can see which items are a good deal. If you click on any of these items, you'll see the full list of items for sale. Finally, if you have searches that you do frequently, you can make a list of favorites and have AL scan for them all at once. To mark something as a favorite, click the checkbox to the left of the item on the "Buy" tab's summary view (if you're on the detail view, which shows individual listings, click the left arrow in the upper-left corner to get back to the summary view). Once you've picked some favorites, use "Show Favorites" from the "Advanced" menu to display them all, along with the market price and historical price for easy comparison. Basically, the main thing that the "Buy" tab lacks (compared to Blizzard's "Browse" tab) is the ability to filter items by type or by level. Aside from that, you should be able to do pretty much everything from AL's "Buy" tab. If that's not the case, let me know! Does that help? |

I'm suggestion happy as of late it seems so here's another thought, lol.
I see that the disenchant tables are in the lua code already for determining de values. Is it possible to allow these to be shown in the tooltip along with your pricing data when mousing over an item, possibly controlled on/off with an option check box? Not looking for anything fancy or horribly specific to the thousandths percentile, just showing what is already there, lol. Thanks again |

I've been using Auctionator for a few weeks and thought I'd try another auction addon; AuctionLite! It's better in many ways, although the favorites handling is not perfect. If I have a lot of favorites I end up waiting a long time - even if I just want to check on one or two of them. Also, all the favorites are sorted by name and not by classification (weapon, ore, herb, bags, recipes etc.).
My suggestion would be to simply allow for more than one list. Preferably with custom names and not tucked away in a drop down menu. Also, at first it was very confusing to even add a favorite. And there's no way to add an item not at AH. So you can't add that rare item that only shows up once a month at AH. |

One more suggestion from me...
Please can you add an option to reset price data for a specific item (or to exclude an item from the deals list). It seems gold sellers on my server are using the AH to transfer money and as a result I now get "Roasted Quail" shown at the top of my deals list because it was once sold at 1600g but is now available for just 6s

Hey all, sorry for the slow replies the last few days!
Karail: Resetting price data is great idea. I'll add it to a future version. Ajuga: I'll see what I can do. Multiple favorites lists should be pretty straightforward, but pulling them out to the main page (instead of the "Advanced" menu) is a little trickier, since I don't want to make the main page too confusing. I'll try a few things and see if I can figure out something that works well. Vis: Sure, I'll add the disenchant tables to the tooltip at some point. Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! |

Love the addon
For glyph sellers like me, having to split each bulk of glyphs to singles and then listing them have always been a pain, so your auto-split feature has been tremendously helpful I was wondering if you'd add a feature where if you hold down alt or ctrl or shift (or combination, doesnt matter) and click an item, it'd automatically set the item on the sell panel (so you wouldn't have to always drag an item from your bag to the sell window)--this would greatly expediate selling process for bulk item sellers like me Thank you and keep up the great work! |

Hi,
Found an error. Was doing some fishing in an area too high for my skill level so I fished up a bunch of junk gray items that AuctionLite didn't recognize and give prices for. Here they are: Name__________________Item ID________Sold 1 For Driftwood_______________45190_________18c Tangled Fishing Line______45194_________18c Tattered Cloth___________45196_________1s Tree Branch_____________45197_________18c Weeds__________________45198_________18c Old Boot________________45199__________18c Sickly Fish______________45200__________18c Hope that helps... Since the update, scanning takes forever
Hi,
Since 3.1, scanning is taking forever. I have Fast Scan enabled, but it seems to just go and go. I normally give up after 5+ minutes. Maybe I need to reset something? It still does my favorites just fine, but a Full Scan is not working for me, where before it was 10-15 seconds. Any ideas? I'm fine to dump all my data if that's the solution. Should I try and wait one out and see what happens?
