    I am no longer supporting this addon as real life demands more of my time. However, anseloth has taken up the reins to keep this updated with his Broker Macaroon - Fan Update. Please use his version as it is up-to-date.

    This is a simple LibDataBroker plug-in to replace Macaroon's built-in minimap button. If you are unfamiliar with how to display LibDataBroker plug-ins, you will need to get a display addon. There's a great post about it with examples of some of the most common display addons at:

    Features:

    Left-Click to toggle bar editing
    Shift-Left-Click to toggle binding mode
    Ctrl-Left-Click for main menu
    Alt-Left-Click to toggle button editing
    Right-Click for main menu
    Shift-Right-Click to create a new bar
    Ctrl-Right-Click to delete the currently selected bar

    I simply made a button. All credit goes to Maul for the absolutely awesome Macaroon.

    I get a checksum error when downloading via Minion. Not sure if that is an error with Broker Macaroon or Minion or even WoWI itself. Just thought I'd mention it though. A manual download should work fine.

    How did the manual download go? I don't use Minion, so I'm not familiar with what needs to be done to make it compatible.

    i am hoping to help with keeping Broker Macaroon up to date
    so, yeah, Lightbright? just wanted to ask, is there any chance you'd be ok with me helping keep Broker Macaroon up to date? Broker Macaroon is a big help to me, seeing as i am a very heavy user of Macaroon.

    i know several programming languages, most notably C, some C++, and i am learning LUA. i also know HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, and some Ajax.

    if there is anything else you want to know, please don't hesitate to ask.

    Not to necro my own post, but I completely spaced out and forgot I posted something to this thread. The manual download works fine, as does the addon itself. I didn't see anything in the .toc that screamed 'checksum error' at me, but I know about as much Lua as I do French.

    I am not sure of the source of the error. It might even be directly from Minion. I'll scan the bug list for Minion to see if it is in there.
    Error: invalid entry CRC (expected 0x0 but got 0x4fa0c4c8)
    Edit: Bug 291, open and unresolved.

    made a fan update
    as i said in the subject of this post, i made a fan update, for broker macaroon.

    this updated one should work just as well as the old version did, except it is registered for patch 3.3, so it SHOULDN'T become out of date until patch 3.4 (or until Cataclysm comes out, whichever).

    anyway, here a link to the Broker Macaroon - fan update.

    next, i hope to figure out how to add to the button tooltip a way to show the status of stuff like whether the macaroon buttons are locked or not.
