Ara Broker Money

This data broker plugin keeps track of your money and displays:

- a simple balance history for: session, today, yesterday, this week (rolling last seven days) and this month (rolling last 30 days);
- a breakdown of the money owned on the server, character by character.

You can right-click this plugin to get access to the config menu. It provides the following functionnalities:

- remove money data from a (possibly deleted) character.
- switch between various display modes.

If you have AddonLoader, this addon will load as delayed.

- Fixed issues where removing a toon or logging a toon unknown from AraBrokerMoney was affecting the balance history.
- Added option "Calendar mode" to switch between "Last 7 days / Last 30 days" and "This week (starting monday) / This month (starting the 1st)".
- Added option "Thousand separator": Space (default), Comma or None.

- Added support for !ClassColors.

- Added optional dependencies: NazScrooge and the buggy DepositBox!.

- Fixed the day to end at midnight for everyone, not only french people (my bad :p).

- Added class coloring. It's not retroactive: you will have to log your alts to get their class color.

- Fixed a rare bug due to a global variable that should have been local (not confirmed).
- Fixed X-Credits in TOC file.
- Added an option to switch between normal and compact display mode.

You could go with Realm & Faction totals. The realm total would be like your grand total for all of your characters on a given realm. As you learn their faction, they would be added to the faction (alliance/horde) total. As ForeverTheGM suggested, you basically ignore them for faction totals until relog into the given character.

I wish I did a screenshot of how MoneyFu did it. Yes, I am finally divorcing myself from fubar. Addons like yours has made this transition a dream!

If the character doesn't have a faction assigned to it then you could just set that particular character's variable to nil. This way, they won't be counted at all.

For those that look at the tooltip and see that some of their characters' gold amounts are missing, they will wonder why and then re-login to that character. There you go; the information has been repopulated.

For faction total: it requires to store the faction of each character. Meanwhile I have to treat toon with an unknown faction as both/none/whatever. Probably add an option to display faction total, realm total or both. I need to think a bit, so next version is not for this week. I wanna play.

I would prefer to look at my bags to see how much money my character has and then the broker display to see how much money I have access to. Oh, it would also be nice if the total excluded characters of the opposite faction (if any) since it isn't easily transferable.

I tried auditor. I hate auditor. And if adding that tooltip stuff is too hard, Is there a way just to change what text gets colored?

For advanced statistics it seems Auditor is pretty good.

Im not sure if I will change this plugin to a more advanced version with custom tooltip or remain tiny as is.

You're right.

I will make it a choice and add an extra tooltip for those who want additional history details.
